Veritas University Abuja Says Dismissed Nun Is Doing 'Content Creation', Denies Sexual Harassment Allegations

The Veritas University, Abuja, has refuted claims by a dismissed nun, Rev. Sr. Anastasia Kinse, that she was sexually harassed by a priest, saying she failed to present any evidence to support her allegations.

The Veritas Head of Corporate Affairs and Communications, Ben Agande, made the clarification on Tuesday during an interview on Arise Television.

He explained that after Kinse submitted her resignation letter to the Vice-Chancellor on July 2, the university constituted a four-member committee, headed by a medical doctor and including one woman, to investigate her allegations.

Agande stated that she was invited and asked to provide the evidence she said she had, but she never provided any.

He described Kinse’s recent public statements as an attempt to generate attention online rather than a pursuit of truth.

According to Agande, “She was invited and asked to provide the evidence she said she had but she never provided any.

“Former Rev. Sr. Kinse’s narration in these few days is born out of content creation because she already admitted that she’s now a content creator and content creation is not guided by facts.

“So, her narrative tries to justify those wild allegations that she made.”

SaharaReporters previously reported that the dismissed Catholic nun, Rev. Sr. Anastasia Kinse, has alleged that she was sexually harassed by a priest within the Catholic Church but said she could not publicly release the evidence she has.

[buSpeaking on Monday during an interview on Prime Time, a programme on Arise Television, Sr. Anastasia, who previously served under the Auchi Catholic Diocese in Edo State, claimed she was dismissed from her job at Veritas University in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, after exposing alleged sexual misconduct by priests.[/u]

The former nun said she joined the Congregation of Mother of Perpetual Help of the Archangels Sisters in 2015 but soon began facing challenges after reporting incidents of alleged sexual advances by priests.

She added that in 2016, a priest invited her to spend a week with him at his parish, which she declined, while another allegedly put his belt around her waist under the guise of taking her measurements for clothes.

According to her, the psychological impact of these incidents was later described by Church authorities as “madness,” leading to her dismissal from both her congregation and her teaching role.

According to her, “I find it very funny when I was asked for evidence, but in our world today, imagine me coming out, calling names and talking doesn’t make any sense.

“It’s not as if the evidences that I was sexually harassed by a priest do not exist, they do, but I cannot put them out there.

“I have a video and an audio recording that shows where the Veritas HOD harassed me.

“I joined the congregation of Mother of Perpetual Help of the Archangels Sisters in 2015. After that I experienced so many challenges and I had always confided in my Superior-General and my Bishop.

“The issue has been that I was always complaining, according to them. First, I wrote to the bishop that the priest was always shouting at me whenever I came to the office to talk to him."

She stated, “I told my superior about a priest I was living in the same compound with, that on a fateful day I went into his room and he tried to touch me and I don’t just understand if that’s a norm and my superior told me to ignore him.

“There was a priest in 2016 that said I should go with him in his car to his parish for a week and I felt that shouldn’t happen.

“And another priest put his belt on my waist trying to check the size of the clothes he would get me when I visit him, and that broke me, gave me a lot of trauma which is what they termed madness,” she added.

Many ladies are too emotional that they refused to have ©ommon sense, including our own Senator Natasha and the former Rev. Sister.

If you claim that a man is sexually abusing or trying to seduce you, lure him to that place where you can get incriminating evidence against him.

If you have no evidence, you are just leveling an allegation against him and will be punished for it. These allegations are serious and deserve very harsh punishments.

When Akpabio Lustfully told Natasha about the softness of her waist n how her husband was and still Enjoying the waist, It doesnt come as a surprise to me. And to think all these was happening on the floor of our collective Holy ground of NATIONAL ASSEMBLY.

He further flew Natasha to Uyo to visit his private home where he held Natasha by the hand while showing her the palours, bedrooms, lounges, Veranders n Balconies n Cantilevers of his well built house.......All these in a bid to chop out of the honeypot of what was meant for Mr Uduaghan.

That aside, why am I seeing names like Kinse, Terungwa, Agande, Terhemba and Terlumun in these Veritas saga............Something telling me VERITAS is owned by a Benue Man??

Evidence?

If she says it happened, it happened...

Tinubu said he attended Chicago University even without evidence, and it happened...

Umahi said he is a professor without evidence, but it happened.

Nnaji said he graduated from UNN without evidence, but it happened...

In this era and economy when everyone is brainstorming on how to survive? Words of mouth is more than an evidence... kiss

Me and Donald Trump were allies cool, it did happen...

A sexual allegation is a grave one to be dismissed as content making especially in past history of many doing same within the church

Lovely, you just spoke my mind.
If not for all this daughters of jezebel that weaponize sex by lying about rape, any unproven allegations without evidence should attract jail penalty.
