The State Government is holding Town Hall Meetings across all four divisions of the State to engage the public about their needs and inform preparation for the 2026 budget. On the days, you will get the chance to speak directly to the Governor and members of his cabinet about what your community truly needs.

Day 1 – Ijebu Division: Tuesday, 14th October 2025

Good idea but not everyone will get a chance to speak at the town hall.

They should have a dedicated email address for the people to send their suggestions too.

It will just be another jamboree. It's not as if their opinions will count or be considered.

We don't need anything other than massive road infrastructure across the state.

We can take care of ourselves, just give us good road network and we'll be fine.

With the acclaimed massive IGR of the state, one would have thought the roads were paved with gold and sapphire.

My own be say make them do Abeokuta,- Odeda- Olugbo- Orile Iporo road.

Ogun State has done well with the twice weekly ValueJet flights starting from October 8, 2025 from the newly constructed Gateway International Cargo Airport and the new power plant. Massive agricultural programs like what Lagos State is currently doing with the Epe Central Agro Food Hub and the 150 CNG fuel haulage trucks for food delivery, including more infrastructure such as roads and well-planned urban layouts still have to be put in place based on what I've been seeing online. Waste management is another thing to be tackled just like in most Nigerian cities as that can be converted to Biogas for cooking and electricity supply.

Ogun State is good to go in terms of being a major international business hub besides Lagos State.

Why not hold one in Ota? Why take it to a village? Oga, you are afraid to meet the people who pay the most tax but benefit the least among the local governments.

The road that should be dualised to the Benin Republic has been reduced to less than half because of a gutter that is being filled with rubbish.

The roads are the worst in urban southwest

Your submission is spot on.

Even in the area of massive dry season agriculture and the completion of that major abandoned hydroelectric and irrigation Ikere gorge dam in Oyo State that was started in 1983 by former President Shehu Shagari but NOT completed till date. That dam is supposed to supply potable water to Lagos State as well but the corrupt Military dictators abandoned it and the OBJ administration for 8 years irresponsibly didn't finish it. If Tinubu cannot help Oyo State (and indeed the West of Nigeria) to complete that important and biggest dam in the West of Nigeria, then I'm certain NO other government will finish it. Already some imported power turbines from Germany were brought for the dam but are already damaged because they were NEVER installed. Nigeria can indeed be very wasteful.

I wonder why those Governors in the South of Nigeria have to keep depending on Northern Nigeria for all their food supplies. Get the Minister of Agriculture to develop agriculture in the agricultural belts of the Southern States such as in Oyo, Ogun, Cross River, and Delta States, etc, pump more money through Agric funding institutions to CLEAR up more forest lands for strictly agribusiness and sustainable development.

Lol during 2nd term with how many months left in his adminstration? Ogun State Gov and admin is a joke.
