Actually he isn't a Muslim.

If he dies now, he wouldn't and shouldn't be buried as one. God is very CLEAR and DIRECT on what makes a Muslim. And there is no such thing as a liberal Muslim. You are either a Muslim or not. You can be struggling with certain aspects of the faith but there are key things that makes a Muslim outlined in the Qur'an.

Rexnegro:
He might just be a liberal Muslim that's all
Re: Governor Bago Worships At Living Faith Church, Minna (Throwback Video) by Sterope(f): 12:29am On Oct 17, 2025
He is no one's brother in Islam because he is actually not a Muslim. This isn't one of those religious issues that is a matter of opinion.

He is outrightly no longer a Muslim for all intents and purposes.

I hope it will go on well with his fanatical brothers that will accuse him ot blasphemy

This guy has been doing this from day 1 since he became governor, he attends christian crusades, it is his own method of encouraging religious tolerance in his state.
When Obi was governor did he step his foot into any mosque in the christian dominated Anambra state?

That's why I don't believe many of the pentecostal missions anymore. I have seen Christians worshipping in mosque but never ever seen them take the position of an imam.

Living faith is leaving its core duty of putting energy to get souls on the right track rather they have smeared the altar in conjunction with Redeem to point that people now attend church to get connections for job and all as first vision.

Very sad this deceitful practices have reached beyond climax.

core traditionalist? What is it that you know as Obasanjo traditionalist practice that is contrary to Christianity

When Christians make. SIGN OF CROSS is that a traditionalist practice?
When you put a picture of an unknown white man in your house claiming he is Jesus what is that?
)

What has traditionalist got to do with worship
If you don't know ask questions
Traditional Yoruba practice does not repeat does not worship anything. There is a belief that there is a supreme deity Olodumare but Olodumare is not worshiped and has no religion. All religion is man made

There are veneration practices of deities which may be human beings that have now died or Orisas that they believe were original messengers .
That is exactly what Jesus is A MAN THAT IS NOW DEAD .

The difference is Christians say he is God and worship him

Jesus said they should break bread in his honor
Today they call it communion. IT. IS A RITUAL

traditional spiritual activities are neither religion nor worship
It is this ignorance that many Christians and Muslims spout
But Muslims call Muhammad 17 times every day
Christians venerate their saints and The mother of Jesus
For the record Obasanjo self declares as a Baptist Christian so there is no reason for him to attend Redeemed every day
He has also worshiped at several white garment churches

You are correct different deities
Allah is not Yahweh/Jehovah and Yahweh is not Olorun
Allah and Yahweh are both blood thirsty genocidal deities from the Middle East packaged to enslave black Africans

He is serving his people... If he has to communicate with the traditionalist - he will do the same... Same as his religion...

I don't know what is the intention and aims of the people propagating captured.
Re: Governor Bago Worships At Living Faith Church, Minna (Throwback Video) by aribisala0(m): 6:44am On Oct 17, 2025
Did Jehovah command violence and even genocide?

Yes — in some Old Testament texts, Jehovah (Yahweh) is described as ordering the destruction of entire populations, including:

The Canaanites (Deuteronomy 7:1–2, Joshua 6–11)

The Amalekites (1 Samuel 15:3 – "kill men, women, children, and animals"wink

Various other nations that opposed Israel

These commands involved total war and are described in terms that fit what today might be called genocide — the destruction of an entire people group.
Re: Governor Bago Worships At Living Faith Church, Minna (Throwback Video) by aribisala0(m): 6:45am On Oct 17, 2025
Jehovah like Allah
Is a violent and genocidal deity

✅ Battles Jehovah Ordered or Commanded:

In these instances, God instructs His people (usually Israel) to go to war:

Conquest of Canaan (Book of Joshua)

Battles against Jericho, Ai, the five Amorite kings, Hazor, etc.

God commands Israel to conquer the land and promises victory.

Exodus from Egypt

Though not a battle in the traditional sense, the destruction of Pharaoh’s army at the Red Sea (Exodus 14) is often seen as God fighting on behalf of Israel.

Wars under Judges

God raises judges (like Gideon, Deborah, Samson) to deliver Israel through battle.

King Saul and King David’s Wars

God commands or supports battles, like against the Amalekites (1 Samuel 15) or Philistines.

✊ Battles God Participated in Directly (Miraculously):

In some cases, Jehovah intervenes in supernatural ways:

Destruction of Jericho – Walls fall after Israelites march around them (Joshua 6).

Sun stands still at Gibeon (Joshua 10) – God helps Israel by extending the day.

185,000 Assyrians killed (2 Kings 19:35 / Isaiah 37:36) – Angel of the Lord strikes them.

Parting of the Red Sea – God destroys Pharaoh's army without a fight from Israel.

Gideon's 300 men vs. Midianites – Victory attributed to God's strategy and intervention (Judges 7).

🔢 Approximate Number of Battles:

There isn’t a specific number stated in the Bible, but based on biblical history:

Old Testament contains 30–40 distinct battles where Jehovah is either said to have:

Ordered the attack,

Given victory to Israel,

Or intervened directly.

This includes:

Joshua's campaigns: ~13 major battles

Judges: ~5–7 major battles

Kings/Chronicles (monarchic period): ~10+ battles

Other divine interventions not tied to standard warfare

I am a strong critique of this faith and rebuke them without mercies but if all could be like this what will make us disdain them. But unfortunately it will be difficult because the foundation is already faulty. Anyways, thanks Bago for always showing outmost tolerance. God bless you and keep you for us!

Obj a traditionalist? Oga what are you smoking? The same OBJ that is a professed Christian and a member of the Anglican Church. Are you aware the same Obj enrolled at the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) to study Christian Theology in 2008 after finishing his tenure as president. Are you aware he now holds a PhD in Christian Theology? When it's not like he's looking to get a job with it, rather according to his interviews and public statements, he studied Christian Theology to deepen his understanding of God and strengthen his faith.

Interesting.

Why is he no longer a muslim (in your opinion)?

Is it because he stepped into a church?

Hope he has finally given his life to Christ. That's what a church should celebrate that they won a soul, not that an unbelievers climbs the pupit yet no salvation. That makes us ask what is the real purpose of church
Politicians attending church or mosque service or activities doesn't mean they must convert.

Politicians is for all.

Sanwolu do go mosque if there's need for it. Does that mean he has turn to a Muslim??

Pls how did u come to the conclusion that Obj is a complete traditionalist. I used "pls" so be objective wit ur answer. I want to know if you can prove this ur statement, albeit, nothing is wrong for a supposing father of the nation to embrace everyone without minding their religion and tribes..last I checked, OBJ is a Christian and a C/S denomination
