Social media users have been thrown into laughter and debate after a man’s attempt to secure a male child took an ironic twist.

A Twitter user identified as Usman Mukhtar shared the story of his neighbor, who decided to marry a second wife because his first wife had given birth to five daughters. Believing that a new wife might change his luck and finally give him a son, the man went ahead with the marriage — only for fate to serve him a dose of irony. Eyes Of Lagos reports,

According to Mukhtar’s post, the new wife recently gave birth to twin girls, adding two more daughters to his household.

Bro, I feel you. I no dey use my daughter play, I remember the day my dog backed at my daughter as big as my dog was I took it my the tail and flinged it like paper. I don't have a son yet but I believe I will do the same for him.

I used to think like this too until I realized that the little I have today and I am still struggling to get more, some people will be like God just let me have this, I will be ok. So life is like that. If he can handle the expenses, let him go for what he wants, if is the will of God, he will get it, if not, he will continue to have many girls.

The timing of sex is what determines the gender of a baby. So the couple should get educated on the timing of sex and both can get the desired result.

I don't understand why people bother themselves over something you have very little control over it's outcome.

I know guyz want male children, maybe because of cultural beliefs or masculine ego but, guy no be you dey determine the gender... So chillax, God will give you what you need and not what you want.

He should marry a third one for best result.

My elderly uncles and aunties are getting frail, sick and dying. Watching events leading to their death and after it has further justified my perception to life.

The second you are dead, life would go on.

Our forefathers couldn't proove it, but were partially right to hold women responsible for the baby's gender.
Just as the X/Y chromosomes factor is responsible for the Baby's gender; timing and vaginal alkaline environment could also affect which set of chromosomes will reach and fertilize the Ovum!

While the "X"(Female) are marathon runner - slow but tenacious; their "Y"(Male) counterpart are short distance sprinter - fast but easily worn-out.
Here are the catches...

A vaginal acidic environment below pH 6.0 will generally reduce sperm motility ensuring only the "X" chromosomes successfully reach and fertilize the Ovum!
Copulating during ovulation may also reduce distance/waiting-time thereby increasing the chance of the "Y"chromosomes fertilizing the Ovum.

He should marry again maybe he might be lucky. 😂😂
