Most Important Defection Yet To Take Place – Makinde According to him, only the Nigerian people, not defections or political manoeuvres, will decide the outcome of the 2027 general election. When Seyi talks, it’s always a comedy! Who are those deceiving him that he is important in affairs? This is just a kid who was opportune to have had access to Oyo state treasury, and feels he has become a force or gained relevancy. Someone should tell this political minion the truth. As it stands today, VDM and Portable are still more politically potent than he will ever be. |

Can Makinde tell us if hunger n poverty already left Ibadan the Oyo state capital or Oyo state itself ? This is his second term in office. |

Alaigbo:Please pardon Seyi. I apologize on his behalf. Just a kid who never envisaged to manage a bakery and became a governor. Intoxicated and can’t find his lane. |

Some people will come here and hail Seyi Makinde, for saying the truth to Tinubu. They won't mind that he's a Governor and it's akso his responsibility to make hunger and poverty defect from Oyo State. |

We Don tell dem tire but dem no want hear word, I would start loosing sleep when the Nigerian populace all defect. Until then, let's see how a handful of corrupt moneybags jumping on a sinking ship would dictate the destiny and future of the Nigerians who have had enough of this corrupt, terror sponsoring administration |

Makinde made valid points whether APC stooges accepts or not. Until poverty defects from the lives of struggling Nigerians tinubu's APC remains a failed project .all those defecting are doing so for their personal benefits and it's effects amount to nothing . Nigerians at this point don't care about APC ,PDP or ADC . A day old political party with the peoples candidate will make a mess of these defectors and the failed government at the center. |

ozo13:No need for party unity, Nigerians, Not any 3 or 4 letter word party, I repeat Nigerians are ALREADY united. We are united in the fear of insecurity. The fear of financial ruin and being unable to provide for our children and loved ones. The fear that after doing every thing right as a law abiding citizen: Education, Taxes, Starting a family, being an upright person in your community, the government or government associates can just show up and take all you have worked for, your land, your houses, your savings etc. You save up all this money only to hand them over to terrorists who can't even guarantee the release of your loved ones, the same terrorist who have been linked to numerous politicians in this administration, the same terrorists this administration has choosen to reward! Nigerians are united. There is no need to defect to a sinking ship, let's see who is more powerful, The politicians or a people who are completely frustrated and on the edge of a meltdown. 2027 would be fun |

ozo13:You cannot force people to have a singular mindset, Nigerians are not a monolith, everyone has a mind of their own but one thing is certain, regardless of who people choose to go with, this evil administration would be done with by 2027 and after that, the hierarchy would be tried and convicted of sponsoring terrorism in Nigeria |

Apt statement. A people that cannot relate their electoral choices with their consequent experiences under governance only proves their intellectual deficiency. How can you prove you have been making the right choices at the polls over nearly thirty years of unbroken civil rule yet your lives are worse than when you started out in almost every index of life and quality living. |

The pertinent question about 2027 is that would the election be free and fair? The government of the day has the ability to make sure free and fair elections can take place in 2027. Only after a free and fair election can any party claim to be POPULAR!!! |

if care is not taken and if things continue to deteriorate , and most especially if the opposition can come together and present the right sellan]ble candidate , then they will defeat apc and tinubu even if he has 36 state governors , because when the people are mobilize and rise up as one with one voice against a government , even 200 governors cants stop them . the million dollar question is can the opposition get their acts right . if they can then it will be a case of the people vs the elites , poor vs rich Mrchippychappy: |

Mr governor e dey pain you that governors are defecting from your selfish party, If it's the other way round would you have said that? Na only you and people of oyo state know how much you don embezzle, What are the things you have done to alleviate poverty in oyo state? Despite Oyo landmass ,you are still relying on food from northern part to feed your Oyo people Continue....ur days on that seat are numbered and you shall give account one day. |

Incase you do not know: Seyi Makinde is greater than Tinubu! If he'd performed poorly in Oyo State, his people wouldn't have voted him the second time as governor. However, your Tinubu, the harbinger of hunger and hardship, lost his State of residency and his ancestral State in the last elections. So, take note! CoronaVirusPro: |
