I decided to go for reconsideration request, I wrote a comprehensive letter and pointed out where I think they where an oversight because the reason for refusal especially about funds where wrong because I had more than enough and showed many proof.
Anyway here is the reply I got from the Canadian embassy,
Who else have tried this Reconsideration request and when you get such response what does it mean please.

He is too desperate. I wish I could set this nairaland forum to avoid his utterly embarrassing posts. How can one person be on all the western countries visa threads asking how to apply for all of them? If he’s really serious then he should either introspect and ask himself if he’s really qualified or brings out good money and seeks quality advice from registered professionals and agents. Whichever one, he’s got to make up his mind what he wants first.
How can one person be on Uk thread asking questions about visa after how many refusals, doing same on the US and Canada threads as well, now I’m just hearing even France too 😂. It reeks of desperation and trying to japa with visit visa. If you want to game the system you better come correct, this ain’t 1993 bruv. I don’t mean to come off as rude but sometimes if you don’t stone someone with the harsh truth they never get to realise that they are loosing it.

On the 2 occassions I applied for my under aged child I ticked yes. IRCC will include IMM 5476e as part of document you will fill and upload. Remember to select your representative is uncompensated and is a friend or family member under item 6.

Please be aware that the U.S. and Canada share immigration and visa information.

So all this your visa hopping applying here today, fabricating invitation letters there tomorrow will definitely show up in their system. Every refusal, every fake conference, every inconsistent story leaves a digital trail. Once one country flags you, the other sees it.
That’s why people keep warning you. You’re not being “targeted”; you’re just publicly ruining your own immigration record. Keep shouting enemy of progress while your name is getting blacklisted across borders.

If you truly want to “japa,” start by fixing your facts,documents, and credibility not displaying your password and desperation for the world to see.

CAN+, as I understand it, is a program that offers expedited processing to applicants who have previously travelled to Canada in the last 10years and complied with visa conditions or who hold a valid US visa at the time of Canadian visitor visa application. I am not aware of a distinct portal for CAN+, but once you file your application on the IRCC portal, there is a questionnaire that would ask "if you hold a valid non-immigrant USA visa", which would require a "Yes" response since you possess that. This would be part of the required documents for you to upload to the IRCC system portal.

With that, your application will be visible to the processing officer of your US Visa status.

The issue now is that my mother is elderly and no longer works. However, my brother, who lives in the U.S., provides her with a monthly stipend.

I would like to know if it’s possible for my brother to be included in the visitor visa application by stating that he will be responsible for her flight ticket. Meanwhile, my fiancée will cover her accommodation and feeding during her stay in Canada.

As you advised, I prefer not to include any financial documents from my side, given my current refugee status. Alternatively, should I mention that I will personally cover her flight ticket instead?

Additionally, I want to mention that my refugee claim is based on being bisexual. After our wedding, my fiancée plans to sponsor me for permanent residence, at which point I will cancel my refugee claim.

Yes, especially people with extensive travel history.

For those who have obtained Canadian or US visas in the past, the chances that they won’t be asked to provide bank statements are very high.

If you don’t fall in any of the above categories, then it is advisable to apply with a 6-month bank statement as requested by IRCC.

Information regarding funds or bank statements can be found on the IRCC website at

Click on the link above; the information concerning the bank statement is clearly stated under proof of funds. They expect applicant to provide 6-month bank statement and the last 6 months of pay slips.

For those who have obtained Canadian or US visas in the past, the chances that they won’t be asked to provide bank statements are very high. that statement is very wrong

At every point, even if you hold a current or previous Canadian or U.S. visa, you will still need to provide six months of bank statements.
There’s no stage in a visitor visa application where you won’t be required to submit six months of bank statements (personal or business account, etc.).
Even if you currently hold a valid U.S. visa, that does not exempt you from providing your bank statements.

If your visitor visa application is selected for CAN+ processing, it is highly likely you will not be asked to submit additional supporting documents beyond a copy of your passport and NIN.

CAN+ is a streamlined, internal process for low-risk applicants that aims to reduce processing times and decrease the amount of paperwork needed. 

However, the visa officers retain the final authority, and they can request additional documents if they feel it is necessary, but most of the time only a copy of the applicant's passport and NIN are requested when the application falls under the CAN Plus program.
