I'm telling you, my southern men no dey think of future they rather hold on to cheap dey get today, if the coup had succeeded, entire world would have been celebrating Nigeria by now
Nazgul:
At this point, if the military comes back they won't be any protest cos Nigerians are tired of suffering under Tinubu. APC wouldn't be able to bribe people to protest for them cos under military rule it would be seen as treason and they and their sponsors would be executed.

So believe me when I tell you that if Tinubu is kicked out tomorrow, the country would be as peaceful as ever, there might be some grumbling on social media which would obviously be banned by the military for some time...days and weeks after the coup, life would get back to normal. We Nigerians know how to adpat to situations fast.
donmixc:
I am so sure southern army sabotage this coup😒😒
Bitter Obidients, no coup will ever happen in Nigeria. You lost election, take your L and prepare for the next election. Hate and bitterness will not make you President.

Army rule was just as bad. Economy wise it was just as awful as civilian rule.

Also, tinubu won last time because most people did not come out to vote, and because atiku and obi could not come to an agreement

For the record, I don't back any party.
How did tinubu win?? undecided U can say he was declared winner in the middle of the night when Nigerians were asleep but that he won I don't agree.

2ndly he was declared winner not because Nigerians didn't come out because many Nigerian came out and some were attacked especially in lagos with voters suppression, Some were killed like in rivers state, Nigerians votes didn't count because result were tipex and altered shameless at collation centres.

So why should Nigerian still come out to vote in such circumstances? 2027 I don't plan to waste my time voting unless I see good reasons and I'm sure my vote will be counted.

Now with LGA autonomy the looting has been expanded were there not autonomy without accountability. The losers are Nigerians and democracy itself.

you are so obsessed with Tinubu that it's difficult for you to focus on your life. Guess what, he doesn't even know your generation exist... I didn't vote for him so I have no reason to complain so leave the wailing for people that voted for him. We all know what the likes of BABANGIDA, ABACHA even BUHARI did to this country but you still support coup. Go to pastor JEREMIAH for your deliverance because you need it.
God bless your reasoning ability 👍.
You know, people seat in their COMFORT ZONES and tell you how Nigeria should be, especially those in opposition camps and draw Conclusions - Tinubu this,Tinubu that,as if they can do better, when we all know the terrible situation we were coming from - at that time,
•Madam Okonji-Iweala told us- ' we have to be borrowing money 💰 to pay govt Salaries '
This was during Una GEJ!
•Almost ALL MOST POLITICIANS ( PDP,ADC,LP,etc,) were ALL IN GOVT BEFORE or -at one time or the other- AS EXECUTIVES,
-MINISTERS, COMMISSIONERS,
-LEGISLATURES,
-HEAD OF GOVT PARASTATALS/ HEAD OF AGENCIES,etc,
• Can they All -Accounts For how the Funds in their possession- got used or just for them to give -Accountability- because of high level CORRUPTION!
-Yet some PEOPLE ( NIGERIANS)- still Clandestinely Clamors -for Coup, but Na Africa Mentality- just because they Lost Elections,so they NEVER wish Nigeria well!
What a pity!

Was there coup during Obj, Yaradua, Jonathan? Why credit Tinubu to absence of coup?

Fear of which protest? Is it his kind of democracy benefitting the average Nigerian?

I don't believe this maybe Sowore is merely gaslighting them.

Look at the vote. Atiku and Obi votes combined were far more than tinubu votes.

Also voter turnout was 21.7%. That's laziness, not fear.

If the oppostion was united, tinubu would have lost.

Also, as far as I am concerned, we have never had true change come from the ballot because most of you vote the same old APC and PDP...I don't.

True change can only come through the ballot box over time with correction and replacement by the ballot box through credible elections where votes count.

No Nigerian is lazy if any Nigerian doesn't come out to vote it is because they believe their votes won't count and that was exactly what happened under our hallow democracy.

For instance in 2027 the turn out will be even lower because of the experience of 2023.

Yes I do agree the opposition not coming together made it easier to declare a false winner because rigging and manipulation was easier since the margins were all close and the system prone to lots of manipulation.

Even if the military wanted to take over, I don't believe that they could. We are talking about taking over a country with one of the largest population in Africa, whose demography includes a high percentage of young people, who are themselves precocious and technologically savvy and quick to get irate, like endsars....So the military cannot deploy slow, analog tactics of Abacha era to conduct coup in present day Nigeria. To do this successfully, it must involve heavy, tech skilled civilian participation. Something to rile up the mainstream and hurl the resulting "hell in a hand bag" against the weak, corrupt and rotting institutions of democracy.... Whilst preparing their own military objectives in secrecy .... I don't believe the military have such minds to conduct such.
Lol. This guy too funny. E go shock you.

- WHAT BENEFITS WAS IBB IN POWER,after spending $80 Billions( Dollars then)-
But he Deceived Nigerians, without us knowing,he wants to hand over- to himself - and CALLED 'I STEPPED ASIDE ' -after Annulling the Best -Elections in Nigeria, and then went ahead to hand over to his brother in Uniform- Abacha.
-How your Abacha became the Alpha and Omega - in running Nigeria, and Chasing Opposition through the Borders - including the Tinubu,Soyinka,etc- that had to Cross the Benin- Republic- Borders with their legs!
Where were some of you then?
•YET ( same Abacha),
TOOK SO MUCH MONEY Outside Nigeria🤑, THAT TILL DATE , FOREIGN COUNTRIES ARE STILL RETURNING Abacha -LOOTS BACK TO Nigeria.
- IN ALL THE MILITARY DID-
• WHO VET THE ACCOUNTS -WITH MONEY THEY USED IN ANY PROJECTS?
• Did they( Military) ever seat with you to Discuss the Affairs of Nigeria - With Bloody Civilians,as they Call the People?
NO TO MANY MILITARY OR COUP- IN NIGERIA OR ANY AFRICAN COUNTRY.
• MILITARY Too -ARE CORRUPT AND DON'T GIVE ACCOUNTS TO ANYBODY - not even to Bloody Civilians!
•This Coup Narratives is being Champion by ' Bitter and Hateful' Opposition -People, because they Lost Elections and they are using Divide and Rule' to cause- Distractions to the MASSES!

Sowore is secretly working for Tinubu, I have been saying that.

Imagine saying that military fears protest so much that don't even want to try a coup!

If Sowore truly opposes Tinubu as he pretends to do, he would be protesting against this administration .

The coup plan is an unverified rumour. The officers are more concerned about making money than plotting a coup.

Nonsense, the problem with most u opposition members is that u are wishing bad for the country, & are looking for a miracle, whilst adding nothing to change the situation.

Nigerian military that don’t know anything will take over, & change the Nigerian situation for u?

The helm of the military is much wiser, they will never try such a thing.

The only reason why peace is perceived absence is because those who don't like Tinubu as the president are the ones being with no peace and refuted reality.

There would have been massive jubilation all over the country...
Men declaring surplus in beer parlour, market women and students dancing wild on the street...

Its would have been a memorable and one of the most happiest day in Nigeria and for Nigerians..

Either they like it or not...this shackle would be broken for sure very very soon...
