What's the point setting up the entire nation for needless protests and crisis.

They might keep thinking that protests like these will never amount to anything, but there is always the last straw the breaks the back of the camel.

Nigeria is sitting precariously close to the precipice as it is.

At this point, I would expect more preventive measures against full blown civil unrest.

Buhari narrowly, and I mean narrowly, escaped this during Endsars.

That was the closest shave ever! Infact, it was the nonchalance of the North that saved him.

But, countries that fell to unrest and rebellion started with such "unserious" protests.

It only takes small cracks like this...! No empire falls suddenly.

If I were in charge of this nation, I would be more proactive about quelling the need for such protests in the first place.

Remember how Endsars was initially taken as the usual minor protests, before things truly went South.

Just imagine if the entire North had joined... Imagine it for a second.

Buhari and his boys never recovered fully from that shock.
