Why is Mtn 1 year broadband subscription over 200k?

Hi guys, while i dialed the USSD code to check for prices (*461*6#) I noticed a price of 15k Monthly FiberX_20Mbps is also available.

Please is this applicable incase one does not want to do the 25k renewal plan

That's the least price. But for a start is 25k subsequently you can go for 15k

I only use it for 2 months in my office before I disconnected the useless thing and migrated to starlink. Mtn Fibre x networks tends to have alot of disconnection issues most often the CC claims bad network switches and it takes days to get it fixed before you can be connected again.

I was optin to a 7 day free trial plan after which I paid for a year since they gave a good discount but was only able to use it for about 2 months before I disconnected the router.

The speed is averagely okay if the network is available. It as being over a year i stopped using it.

Onboarding was very challenging in my area. I paid for the service in May but did not get onboarded until August. After that, I had to escalate the issue to NCC.
But the Service is good generally. but my fear is their after-sales support. not firmed up yet.

This is the worst decision I made lately.

Got it fixed around 2pm on Saturday, installer left, 4pm it's not working anymore.... Called installer...he said it will come up by itself, this is my 6th day and it hasn't come up at all

I have called installer, marketer, 217, send tweets severally even visited their office.... " the classic response....we will escalate it for someone to work on it)

The annoying part.... I just found out my subscription has been counting since the day it was installed.... now I have 24 days remaining 😅 on internet that I didn't even use for 3hrs....

I've decided to leave it like that...I have better things to do than to be chasing one stupid network for 25k.

..but I will vehemently discourage anyone who wants to try it....

Get something else...
Maybe their 4g or 5g router but definitely not this Fiber zero

They’ve had a lot of problems with onboarding new customers this January tho….asides from that nobody can say it’s not worth it, except those who haven’t used it yet.
I fixed about 13 last year for friends fam and some clients, I did 4 in December(even one on Boxing Day), zero complaints after activation.

Are you saying my case is one out of many.... today makes is 11 days and I've not used it ....

Interestingly, I got an automated message for renewal of what I didn't even use .....

The funny part....despite all the call, messages and emails....they've never sent anyone to come check it up for once....it's the worst customer service I've seen .
