That is the difference. If I were to choose who to go with, with all things being equal, I would still a million times choose Ghanaians. They are very reasonable and lovable people with a soft heart that melt after time, but you see South Africans they believe in violence and killings as the ultimate penalty.

We West Africans slept for far too long on developing our region in particular and then our countries in general. If only we made strides like the other regions did/are doing, a lot of stuff would have been avoided.

In my years of engagement on social media, the country that hates Nigeria/Nigerians without apologies is South Africa. They want the Ghanaians to follow them hating on Nigerians but the Ghanaians sometimes backtrack. The rest of Africans see Nigeria/Nigerians differently.

South Africans do not hate Nigerians, they hate the fact that Nigerians hate themselves.

For example Nigerians bleach their skins, Nigerians destroyed their cities intentionally and now they are flooding other countries, Nigerians worship whites, nigeria undermine everything Nigerian, Nigerians are not fighting to develop Nigeria else they migrate to other countries.
Nigerians prefer European soccer league over theirs.

I watched for the first 3 minutes and I was actually impressed; that guy the interview started with represented Rwanda very well! Guy has explored more Nigerian foods than actual Nigerians themselves.

On the flip side, I think we (Nigerians) don't travel enough especially within Africa and we don't read enough about the rest of Africa & Africans. I'm not sure if it's the economy or our lack of interest in anything/anyone outside Nigeria (maybe 'coz we've got too much problems of ours to be bothered about what/who doesn't concern us directly).

Aside the well-known Rwandan genocide & how clean and beautiful Kigali is, I doubt up to 70% of Nigerians (yours truly inclusive) know anything else about that country. Those who say "traveling is education" or something like that didn't lie.

Nah.. what annoys me is this constant belittling of black South Africans.. People who've never set foot outside Nigeria alwats peddling this myth that black South Africans "envy" them,? Envy what exactly? Black South Africans actually enjoy some ot the best standards of living in the continent and im not talking about the poor ones.. We don’t see travel as educational but only for money na water purposes. We just lack a sense of collective awareness, it’s just about I and I myself alone then blame others when you’re not happy and attack those you feel are happier. Sometimes I think it’s also some form of mental illness to just see all that’s bad about yourself and not ponder about the good things others think about you
