A large crowd of peaceful protesters took to the streets of Umuahia today, calling for the immediate release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

Chanting solidarity songs and holding placards, the protesters urged the Federal Government to obey court orders and grant Kanu his freedom. The demonstration remained calm and organized, with security operatives stationed at key points to maintain order.

This renewed protest reflects the growing public demand across the Southeast for justice and peace through dialogue and respect for human rights.
