Islabelle:
please sir , is a ghost update with no adr or pfl. eligibility complete and background in progress a good or bad sign?
Don't get Hight blood pressure trying to track IRCC cheesy but yes that’s actually a good sign — or at least a neutral-to-positive one.

Why not just go to page 1? It will help you a great deal. I'm sure if he answers this question, you have another waiting, whereas all the information you need are on page 1. The importance of thoroughly reading page 1 has been emphasized here countless times.

Good morning house.
I have a Bsc and a PGDE. I'm trying to evaluate both but I have some question 🙏
1. Will the two institutions send my transcript to WES?
2. Who has recently paid for WES evaluation and what's the easiest method to do this?

Good evening everyone.

Please I recently got passport request submission and I will like to know of I can change my husband to accompanying.

For context, I received my ITA prior to my wedding but was only able to submit my application after my wedding during which I updated my profile to include husband's details but I listed him as unaccompanying (he is in canada on a temporary work permit), now that I have gotten passport request, can I mention he is now accompanying and what are the Implications?

Timeline between PR submission and passport request is one month

IMO, seems like in-land spousal PR sponsorship after you land in his warm bosom may be the path to go as he is in Canada already.
Good thing u informed IRCC after you got married.

Perhaps you or husband can call IRCC for best “choice” in your unique situation. Or send webform.
Kindly note that IRCC has recently been trying to check all the spousal accompanying/unaccompanying loophole. Some people’s applications getting rejected sef.
If na me, I for collect visa land first. Then start inland spousal sponsorship immediately. Hopefully within 6months to 1 year baba sef go get PR. He won’t even notice the time fly as he’ll have your companionship 😃😍

If she has valid work permit and job offer, she doesn’t need to show PoF. See the excerpt from ircc PoF requirement for EE attached. Go through the website too for clarity: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/documents/proof-funds.html

Cheers and all the best to your family!

Good morning all

Please I’m new here and need guidance. I just got ITA but points claimed is for the project assistant job I started while I doing my undergraduate degree during the ASUU strike in 2022 that lasted for 8 months but I continued the job until March 2024 because I was already in my final year and the job was remote. From April 2024 I started a role as a pharmacy assistant while waiting for NYSC mobilization but I studied mechanical engineering. Can someone guide me if I’m able to proceed and how best to proceed?

Thank you 🙏

Good morning sir, please like how much do you think it can cost to meet and consult a good immigration Lawyer in Canada presently?. Especially in Alberta. Please reply.Thanks.
I'm not sure of Alberta but USD100 should be sufficient for virtual consultations.

Welcome, and I wish you all the best on your new journey!

The first step is to determine your maximum possible Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score.

Once you know your CRS score, the next step is to identify which immigration program or category your profile may qualify for — for example, Healthcare and Social Services occupations, Education occupations, or Trade occupations (Version 1).

To be on the safe side for category-based draws, it’s best to have your CRS score in the high 490s range.

If none of these categories apply, consider ways to increase your CRS score — such as through a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) or by improving your French language proficiency.

Finally, remember that no Telegram, WhatsApp group, or online platform can truly guide you effectively if you haven’t first determined your base CRS score, even before starting your WES evaluation or any document review.

Good evening everyone,
Please for those who have successfully learned French and have written the tef exams, can you please kindly recommend any credible tutors as well as online resources. Thank you all in advance.
Also, please for someone considering the educator category, do I necessarily need a university degree in education, this because my first degree is a B.sc

The employment requirements in education for a teacher are as follows:

- Teachers of academic subjects require a bachelor's degree in
education which is often preceded by a bachelor's degree in the arts
or sciences.

- Teachers of vocational or technical subjects require a bachelor's
degree in education which is usually preceded by specialized training
or experience in the subject.

Help please!
I have two question please;

1. My sister is a PR holder in Canada but I had no idea until we got an ITA ( we weren’t in good terms for a while) I already claimed points for my husband’s brother. Is it okay to include my sister in my PR application now that I know she has PR(it doesn’t change our points).

2. My husband has our POF in an investment thing with the bank, should we take out the money and put in my Own account OR put it in HIS own account OR leave it as an investment and get an investment certificate. How do we go about that?

I’ll appreciate your responses
My 2 cents is to not claim points for a sibling you are not in good terms with. Even if you are in good terms, some my not agree to share with you the documentation with which you'll use to claim the points.

IRCC is getting stricter with this accompanying/un-accompanying spouse thing.

In the Writing & Speaking modules of English language proficiency test (IELTS, CELPIP or PTE); you get a full score when you write or tell original story. Several people copy and paste directly and expect not to be checked. The system is changing everyday. Someone used that storyline already, the system can remember. In the advent of AI, originality is what they look out for.

To help you answer the speaking and listening modules rightly, we can draft a personal template not used by anyone for you. You only need to practice to get familiar with th words and replicate directly in your actual test/exam. This will save you of time and any other error you might incur at the time of answering this by yourself.
(This is available for IELTS, CELPIP and PTE)

Long post alert…
It’s finally PPR!! 🍁
After six whole years (God is faithful🙏🏽)
Visited Canada in 2017 for a student conference and it was “love at first sight”.😍 Then, I joined the pool shortly after completing one year work experience in 2019. Maxed ielts but CRS draws skyrocketed to 470 the same month I entered confidently with 456.😩😅 Profile and ielts expired. Got tired of waiting on Canada, went off to the UK for my MSc in 2022, and stayed back after graduation.

Brother got PPR and moved to Canada. Then, I decided to try again after hearing about the healthcare stream. Recalculated my score with extra 15 sibling points and didn’t think I had the chance cos draws were above 500 at the time. Everyone encouraged me to write ielts, so I dragged my feet to the exam centre and got L9R9W7S8. Entered the pool with 477 in May 2025 wishing I took the ielts seriously and had maxed out on writing.
Timeline:
Got ITA July 22 (Healthcare draw 475)
AOR Sept 10 (late submission due to POF wahala)
Med passed and BIL request: Sept 19
BIL complete on tracker: Sept 24
Eligibility complete: Oct 3
FD on gckey: Oct 28
Background complete and COPR no.: Oct. 29
Passport submission letter on gckey: Oct 29!!!
Thank God for keeping things running smoothly.
To everyone else waiting, “Don’t lose hope, He will do it!!”
