It was clearly a mistake. VAT are not charged on Pharmaceuticals, Medical Laboratory tests and hospital services..

This is a typical example of exploitation and not what vdm is doing. Postinor 2 is sold in most pharmacies at 2500. There is delivery charges which is normal and service charge cannot be explained

AskawaDoctotor is not la Licensed Pharmacist or pharmacy to dispense and distribute regulated pharmaceutical products. This is the type of unregulated channels that unwholesome pharmaceutical drugs used to get into circulation.
Ask only Licensed Pharmacists from approved Pharmaceutical premises for your medications.

Affordable medicine is more than pricing. Medicines are not your regular commodities because of the expert knowledge required in the whole process ; from drug discovery/R& D to manufacturing to distribution, down to dispensing to the patient and patient care monitoring before, during and after medicine usage. Only the Pharmacist is involved in all the steps and trained and licensed expert on medicines. Take advantage of the Pharmacist's expertise.

If you get Medicines outside the regulated channel, it will be difficult to detect and report unwholesome drugs and intervention may not occur.
Do your own part to protect yourself and the public from unregulated drug business. Patronize only licensed Pharmacists and approved Pharmacies.

How will you claim that service charge for a product of 6000 is 2000 naira, which is different from the delivery charge...?

This is why a lot of people do not even want to patronize Nigerian online stores.

They now want to address the matter they are now lying again as if Nigerians do not have any reasoning faculties at all.

How is it so bad in saying we are sorry it was miscalculated.. And not tell us VAT charged was Service charge!

The drug itself is less than 2k, but they're selling it at almost 7k plus 4k charges again.

That wasn't a mistake, they charge VAT on medications, just that it got to the public. Besides why would they charge as much as 2000 for item worth little above 6k, that clear extortion. Few years time, this company will be no where if they continue this way.

See as many people know price of postinor.
