ibedun:You have been allying since independence and wining the presidency, only to lead Nigeria to its present piteous predicament. Yet you can't use your head to count the cost of estranging the Igbo from Nigeria's apex political leadership position. Until you die with Nigeria you can't learn a lesson. |

discusant:No thanks. Judging by the underdevelopment and backwardness in SE, no sir. The rate of homeland abandonment and emigration from igboland tells the real story. “Cost of estranging the igbos my foot! |

ibedun:More Yorubas left Nigeria than the Igbo. Only a mentally deranged person would celebrate because a part of his country is backward. In any case, take out Lagos, no part of Yorubas land is more developed than the southeast. |

discusant:Na you sabi. I want my ancestral land and heritage protected from those who covet it. Using bogus unwise constitutional provisions to attempt to steal or co-own my land which could lead to chaos and internal war. |

ibedun:Nigeria's major income is from crude oil and gas in the Niger delta region. Therefore your region must stop collecting federal allocations from Abuja for your region. Develop more sense. If you want Lagos solely for your region, declare Oduduwa Republic immediately. |
| Re: Aso Villa Under Tight Security As #freennamdikanu Protest Grips Abuja by ibedun: 1:04pm On Oct 22, 2025 |
discusant:We will not declare any oduduwa republic to assert our authority on our land in our region. We are hosting you at the moment and we can equally withdraw your welcome (which is already in the first stage). You will live by our rules, regulations and traditions, and you will have minimal to no participation in our local governance. If that makes you unhappy just move elsewhere or go back home. If you want to dismantle 3rd mainland bridge and other FG installations, and take them to Awka or wherever, go right ahead. |

discusant:Now I am not and will never celebrate the backwardness of certain region of my country. But I object to the local people abandoning their land to continue their usual chaotic unruly lawless behaviour in someone else’s land. And they’ve chose MY ANCESTRAL LAND!!! |

ibedun:Only semi-literates say they host people of the same country in their region. Nobody is a stranger in any part of their country. Every citizen can vote or be voted for where the citizen resides. Una receive half education from Awo's free education programme. |

discusant:You’re focusing on theory instead of the practical. You are already forcing potential constitutional amendments with your behaviour. This provision is already identified as a serious error in the current constitution, “live anywhere vote anywhere” is a careless and thoughtless provision in a federation like Nigeria. We have to insert some restrictions and safeguard to avoid chaos, tribal land boundaries, voting conditions if you are away from your homeland, Easterners (a particular tribe) are reckless ill-intent covetous migration (Easterns IDP flooding to Yoruba land etc). The last election laid bare the folly of these provisions in the constitution. Your first job as a man is to develop and improve and fight for your fatherland to secure it for your women, children and people. I am doing that for Yoruba land. |

ibedun:Your forefathers fought to keep Nigeria one but your generation does not understand what a country means. Spitting. You can't have one country divided by traditional boundaries. English people are original to London, but no English person would describe a Welshman or Scottish person living in London as a stranger in London. Lagos was built with cash from crude oil in the Southeast and southsouth, |

discusant:Ranting/Yapping nonsense in the internet space won’t change realities on the ground. And for the 1millionth time, SE does not have any oil. Refrain from making false claims on the internet. Next thing you’ll tell me I am a hater or tribalist. No! I want to protect my heritage, traditions and culture. You should do the same. Na only una dey make this false claims. ABUJA is Nigeria’s one and only FCT. |

ibedun:Abuja? Akinola Aguda was used to proclaim that Lagos is no longer fit as Nigeria's capital. Abuja came. Yorubas living in Lagos as civil servants trooped to Abuja and abandoned Lagos. There were few Igbos in the civil service then, Igbos in Lagos as traders remained behind to build Lagos. For the umpteenth time: you can never have a Lagos where non Yoruba residents cannot vote or be voted for. You can demolish the whole of Lagos now, but you can't have a Nigeria where people can't be voted for or vote for others where they live in elections Stop listening to Bayo Onanuga. |

discusant:This is so so sad, and yet you are unknown unrecognised excluded from everything Lagos. You are an outsider and whole Yoruba nation will ensure the current status quo. So they left Alaigbo to rot but stayed to “build” someone else’s homeland. Reason am naw nwanne 🤷🏾♀️😂😂 I feel shame for you when I see your elders in Lagos, stuck in my homeland can’t return home to rest and pass on peacefully. Ok ooo… |
| Re: Aso Villa Under Tight Security As #freennamdikanu Protest Grips Abuja by discusant: 5:59pm On Oct 22, 2025 |
ibedun:Ala Igbo is not rotting. Ala Igbo is more developed than the southwest region. Lagos is home to all Nigerians, was built by Nigerians as federal capital. |

discusant:This utterances only ever comes out of one mouth or a particular section of this country, the certain tribe that I have spoken about whose homeland as we speak is in shambles and they can’t go or are running away from there. We the owners, the powerbrokers, the commandants of the military organs, the kingmakers of this country know the homeland we belong to. Nobody ever says Lagos is home to all. LAGOS IS NOT HOME TO ALL. It is home to the indigenous Yoruba people only, but it accommodates other Nigerians who wishes to abide by its law, culture and traditions, and are subjects of the one and only first class traditional ruler of the land, the Oba of Lagos. Nwanne! You may not come from a hierarchical society but please understand that Lagos has been in existence centuries before Nigeria. |

ibedun:Dude Lagos is home to all. Also it is the ancestral home of Yorubas only indigenous to Lagos. So anyone from Ogun cannot say he is from Lagos |
