Tension is rising in Edo North as market women have taken to the streets, crying out over alleged oppression by the newly appointed Iyaloja, Madam Iyeki.

According to reports, Madam Iyeki, backed by thugs, has been terrorizing traders in Afuze and nearby markets — forcefully collecting revenue and harassing women who refuse to comply.

The affected traders are pleading with the Edo State Government and traditional leaders to intervene before the situation gets out of hand.

Is the Iyaloja from Edo originally? If yes, then no need for too much noise but if the iyaloja is not Edo origin then it will be difficult or impossible.
