Watching the ref's performance in Laliga makes you appreciate the transparency in EPL. The difference is night and day lol. I can't remember a close game Madrid won without a red or penalty this season.

Port to EPL or Make Una enjoy because it's not football, it's Laliga grin grin grin grin

Next el classico go sweet. Fair game is my mantra. wink

Edit: Watching that again (the red). No referee in Spain is sending a Madrid player off for that. At best yellow. Zero chance lol...
I don't see us getting anything from that game (though I hope they will surprise me) but from the look of things our chances are slim but there's no need to make it pretty obvious with these same stuff happening season after season, we were so good last season that even in our wins we weren't really affected by bias decisions going against us now that we are poor and out of form compared to them any mishap against us might end the game from the first half sef

If this Filipe Luis that is coaching flamengo is the one that's heavily touted to be Diego someone's successor then we might be in big trouble even with them alongside Madrid next season if we don't find ways to strengthen our team next year, tico have the tools for him with several young and talented players like giuliano

Shame on you Jp, always looking for someone else to blame for your team's woes & bad choices 😒
Your club always wins by cheating the opponents with the help of the referees. How do you bring yourself to support such dirty club?

cheesy cheesy Watching Laliga refs especially in a game involving Madrid usually make me laugh lol. Na why I dey laugh when EPL fans especially my Arsenal fan friends/colleagues complain about refs. I usually just tell them to watch Laliga. This season, is there a close game Madrid won without a red or penalty??. I'll research on this when I have small time.

Like the saying goes; It's not football, it's Laliga 😂😂😂😂

How that call stood as a red card still baffles me, what was the work of VAR if not to check controversial decisions/moments?

Real Madrid this season has played 11 matches in all competitions

Had 2 matches Real Madrid was given red card - won both matches
Had 2 matches opponents were given red card - won both matches
3 of the 4 matches with red card were Laliga 1 was UCL

Penalties played Osasuna, Marseile X2, Levante, Kairat, Villareal
Penalties against Sociedad, Atletico,
if we discount the penalties of UCL, it shows we have conceeded 2 penalties in Laliga and played 3 in same laliga

pls go and review your red card and penalties hypothesis again as it does not prove your hypothesis.

Believe me, I did as you opined and it seems I'm not too far off.

You're a Madrid fan so obviously you won't see how the refs are favouring your team. Similar to how Barca was favoured in the past. Aka UEFALONA. But even in the past, Madrid was even more favoured. Man united also got this favour in the EPL when Fergie was in charge.

My caveat was/is "close games"

I said, in games where Madrid were suffering(close games), the opponent either gets a red or Madrid were awarded a penalty. Apart from the game Vs La Real, you guys are yet to win a single "close game" without penalties or red.

I define close game as games that could go either way with the opposition very much in it.

Opening game, a penalty was needed to open the scoring vs Osasuna. The game was close and ended 1:0. @2:1 Vs Villarreal with Villarreal threatening to make it 2:2, Mourilo was sent off for a 50:50 duel with Vinnie. The man advantage told and Madrid won 3:1. Against Marseille, two PKs was needed to seal the victory. No PK/red vs Athletico, you lost convincingly 5:2.

The game Vs Getefa would've ended 0:0. Madrid didn't create meaningful chances to win that game until Nyom was sent off for at best a yellow card offence. This was another close game and it was no surprising that Madrid scored immediately after the red. He wasn't the last man and that wasn't a violent conduct. Yes, he impeded Vinnie but you don't give red card for that. No ref in Spain is sending Carvajal or Carracàs off for that Nyom challenge. Zero chance.

Last season, If the Alaves player wasn't quick enough to adjust his legs, Mbape would've sent him to the hospital for at least 6 months or thereabout but he got just a game. Any other team and it's 3 or more matches suspension. I just added this for reference.

I don't expect you to agree bcz it's your team. it's a game of football and people will have different opinions. But I think the referees in Spain are really bad especially in games involving Real Madrid.

FIFA says my game is fair play, so that's what I long for in the beautiful game and why EPL refs are way ahead even though they're equally bad but not Laliga bad.

Peace ✌️

Man united also got this favour in the EPL when Fergie was in charge. You are not a Madrid fan so obviously you would only see how refs are favouring Real Madrid.

My caveat was/is "close games" This is as subjective as the types of food taste in the world

I said, in games where Madrid were suffering(close games), the opponent either gets a red or Madrid were awarded a penalty. Apart from the game Vs La Real, you guys are yet to win a single "close game" without penalties or red. We have played 11 matches 4 red cards. We have suffered 2 and still won but you claim it is opponents getting red card that makes us win. We havs suffered penalties just as we have gotten penalties in our favor. So how does this prove your assumption being true?

I define close game as games that could go either way with the opposition very much in it. Again this is subjective as saying the percentage of love a man has for a woman

The Osasuna players did not even complain to the referee that it was not a penalty. How was Villareal game close? Your subjective lens off course. Villareal did not have 1 shot on goal through out the first 45minutes but you deem it close. We scored firts goal from open play. We scored the second from a penalty that was not contested before today just as its convenenient for you. We were leading 2-1 and Mourino got a second yellow card but you still convenient see it as a 50:50 duel. Bias is will always show one way or the other.

How do you call an off the ball foul a yellow card offence? Vini was not being passed to. The ball was passed by Carreras to Arda in the middle of the defence around the 18 yard box but in your objective eyes Nyom hitting Vini that was not involved in the play nor around the ball both in the face and knee as a yellow card offence. grin. Na wa o.

Last season, If the Alaves player wasn't quick enough to adjust his legs, Mbape would've sent him to the hospital for at least 6 months or thereabout but he got just a game. Any other team and it's 3 or more matches suspension. I just added this for reference. I dont know the relevance of this to justify Real Madrid winning its matches this season because of red cards and penalties given to opponents

I don't expect you to agree bcz it's your team. it's a game of football and people will have different opinions. But I think the referees in Spain are really bad especially in games involving Real Madrid. Same applies here. You are unable to mask your bias despite best efforts. Try harder next time. Bias is a bitch.

FIFA says my game is fair play, so that's what I long for in the beautiful game and why EPL refs are way ahead even though they're equally bad but not Laliga bad Yinmu. Your fans will agree with you.

They are slightly below Laliga in corruption.

In Spain, between Barca and Madrid, I support Madrid and this is something I don't shy away from even in real life. I'm a Chelsea fan but I follow Laliga alot too. The reason why I spend more time in Barca thread instead of Madrid is because aside Purple and may be mmenorize, your fans don't like having friendly convos. Small thing they'll say 15ucl. It's impossible to have a meaningful discussion from that point. And the thread is kinda dry. Your last game there was zero commentary during and after the game.

These discussions are just for fun and I don't take it seriously, not one bit. I'll never drag anything football with anyone online. Just banter here and there and some serious convo if the person is game. Those were my observations and you've given yours. All our observations and complaints ends here online. None will reach FIFA or Spanish FA. Na why I don't carry all these things in my head.

You said there's no bias for Madrid, I agree with you. You're spot on high chief!

Peace wink✌️

Why all these shalaye?
I did not ask which club you support. Neither did I care about if you follow La Liga. No point did I mention anything UCL. You just kept bringing deviated points into a simple discussion about Real madrid winning matches because of penalties and red cards (which you struggle to prove).

I have provided feedback on matches with red card and penalties I have given you clarity on why we were not back foot on those matches. Instead of focusing on replying that you change to you cant have simple conversations because of UCL that I never even spoke about. As I said BIAS IS A BITCH.

By the way Real Madrid Thread has always been like that since teh first thread that was closed. We the fans dont talk too much. Never did even in the Santiago Bernebau.

Real Madrid sent a letter to CONCACAF (the North American football federation) requesting that the Villarreal–Barcelona match not be held on its territory.
[@La_SER]

Do they know something we don't know? Why're they fighting tooth-and-nail to ensure this match does not take place in Miami?

I think most Barca fans and players don't as well want this match in Miami, but at this point, we have to play this match in Miami, so that I can see what will happen. I am now genuinely very curious grin grin This desperation from Real Madrid to stop this match means there is something else we're yet to find out. cheesy cheesy First they reported to UEFA, then reported to FIFA, then reported to CSD. Now it is CONCACAF cheesy cheesy cheesy They also bribed the captains to stage 20 seconds strike before each laliga match.

I want to see what it is that they're desperately trying to prevent.
