Our bambiala in this part of the country is becoming too much undecided

We should worry more on how our league was feared on the continent has dipped so low that a South African Club which we were used to humiliating will comfortably come here in Abeokuta and run and embarrassing riot on us cry

It obviously wasn't bambialla...

They didn't beg for it but were given freely. And even on the streets of the richest countries food are shared and they are food banks for example even in SA.

My question is why they didn't finish the food they were given. Was it because it was simply too much for them to finish before leaving, the quality of food given or they simply didn't prefer the "Nigerian made" food. Maybe the nff can look into that. But whatever the case it's commendable that they didn't trash or waste the food.

And yes our local league and football generally is in a higi haga state to borrow the language of hon obayagbona. ( not sure of the spelling) and a needs a total overhaul.

A state of emergency on our football has become necessary and we could" borrow" or copy the morrocan blueprint to redevelop our football and sports in general!

Country don bad, how low can the country go? See people begging for food on the street, you are begging visitors for food and tinubu will say Nigeria is at its best. Don't you know it a turn off for tourists to see people begging for food on the street...

More like a father drawing his ward with the left hand after disciplining him with the right.

Same Remo stars that gave us shambolic performance at CHAN.

Which way Nigeria league?

This news makes me sad. The South Africans did this on purpose to mock Nigeria.

They thrashed Remo stars 1-5 and shared left over foods to Nigerians…

If you can’t see the irony in this whole scenario then sorry.
Nigeria flying eagles did something like this in the 80s when they mocked either Ethiopian or Somali citizens by throwing food at them, can’t remember which county now….but the players paid dearly for that disrespect.

What South African players did here was to insult Nigeria as hungry and helpless ‘giant’

I wish I could flog and teach those who accepted those food some lesson.

‘This is a national embarrassment

Stop defending rubbish 🗑
We beg a lot in this country.
People bed shamelessly...
Even as a government, we shamelessly beg. It is a bambialaa addiction!
You see a government official that just stole millions of dollars, begging gibgerly for dollars in the name of Nigeria the next day. In every international conference, we beg! O gini!?
People litter the streets begging authoritatively.
Online, they beg, shamelessly too. Nigerians will say anything in serious threads in different international websites just to beg.
They will just jump in to beg!
It's an epidemic that must be stopped.

If it is then shame on them not us.

I don't see it as a national embarrassment because if you share free food anywhere in this world people will collect it.

If you go and share free food in the US today I'm sure they are people on the street that would collect it.

I think nff should look at the reasons why it was done though...where the south Africans overfed, was the quality of food low to the extent they couldn't eat it etc or was it done in mockery.

The intention behind it is what matters!

Do you know the meaning of begging?

Beginning means being on your own then someone comes to meet you to say "pls give me money, or food" staying on your own then someone decides to give you something by their own free Will is not begging pls.

I know where you want to take this... tinubu's economy, right?

If they did it in mockery then joke is on them...

It can only be mockery if the same is done on the streets of south Africa and they are so comfortable that the food is rejected and no one takes them.

I doubt it’d happen in England or Uk. Those players and club would be sanctioned. Of all the things to share with fans, it’s food!!

Why didn’t they give out their football shirts, socks, trainers and boots. Why food?

I think they should be cautioned for doing that. There are people out there with food allergy. Someone can suffer reactions or food poisoning from eating those.

The club could be sued for allowing their players to do that.
