No, the report said Edo North. It’s is Edo South that vehemently rejected them with backing of Oba of Benin. Benin is Edo South. Edo North is Auchi, Uromi.

While the market women in Edo South were vehemently opposing it, the ones in Edo North kept quiet and now they are cry.

The reason why all these is happening is because the Oba of Benin that’s supposed to be neutral became partisan hence the disrespect even when he openly refused they still went ahead to install the Iyaloja , on a normal day dem nor born APC well or the state governor to allow a none indigene of Benin to come and be Iyaloja in Edo state or Benin markets I spent all my life living in Benin my mom was a trader I am frequently in the markets I have never at anytime see where they bring someone from outside to become an Iyaloja, Iye Eki is always a Benin indigene
