President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has nominated Dr. Bernard Mohammed Doro as the new Minister for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, following the elevation of Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda to National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), News360 Nigeria reports.

The announcement was made on Tuesday by presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga, who noted that Dr. Doro’s appointment is pending confirmation by the Senate. Onanuga confirmed that the president has already transmitted the nominee’s details to the Senate for consideration.

Dr. Doro, born on January 23, 1969, in Kwall, Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State, brings over 20 years of multidisciplinary experience spanning clinical practice, pharmaceutical management, strategic leadership, and community engagement in both the United Kingdom and Nigeria.

His nomination marks a continuation of President Tinubu’s commitment to appointing experienced professionals to key positions in his administration.

Appointment and appointment over appointment yet majority of the citizens are going deeper in poverty and hopelessness , the way we never had it before . Don't these people feel the pulse of the passes? Was the 2012 protests Tinubu engaged and mobilized for only a ruse? Are these people supposed to be contemplating or planning 2027 at all?

If people eventually vote for him or his party, the APC, i am so sure people will be dyiing of hunger in their hundreds.
