Babajide Sanwo-Olu @jidesanwoolu

Today, I attended the Lagos State Stakeholders’ Forum of our party, the All Progressives Congress (APC).

It is always important for us to come together, reflect on our progress, and renew our shared commitment to the ideals that unite us, service, accountability, and the continuous growth of Lagos State.

I am encouraged by the passion and dedication of our party members, from the leaders who have built this foundation to the young men and women who carry our vision forward.

Together, we will continue to strengthen our democracy, deliver good governance, and build a Lagos that works for everyone.

This is surely against the electoral laws ....they started too early but the problem is that they are endorsing a failure in all indices of governance..one innocent girl is in a Bush in edo state under the custody of bandits, who want her family to pay 20million naira ,both the illiterate governor who only focus in life is to asslick the president and federal government is doing next to nothing to rescue this sweet girl from dying...but somehow someone who have destroyed our economy which worsen insecurity is getting endorsement...Nigeria 🇳🇬 have not been so terribly divided like this during PDP era..certainly this is not the time to be a Nigerian

Re: APC Lagos Stakeholders Endorse Tinubu For Second Term by chukslawrence(m):
Igbo Political leaders have failed the Igbos already...... Emotions aside, no any Igbo politian can defeat Tinubu.

Atiku could have won the last election flawlessly but Obi did him bad by also contesting which really favoured Tinubu.
I trust Atiku to fail Nigerians which will be very easy to boot out, And that could have made way for Peter Obi come 2027.

As it stands now, I don't see any candidate defeating Tinubu (a born politician), but only ADC Atiku/Obi ticket would give Jagaban a run for his money.

Only Atiku can defeat Tinubu. Peter Obi should learn 'Law Of Power' very well.....
know when to fight (contest) and who you are fighting (contesting with).
Let's forget all these Twitter or any online polls and face the reality.

Tinubu and his co-Horts will be surprised and also shocked by 2027.

Money can't buy love finally. You ruined the economy and have chased a whole generation away to the other countries and you have the temerity to seek endorsements.

Hear us loud and clear sir, we will reject you in 2027, let the Governors, their aides and your family vote for you.

As for PO and Atiku, I have a candid and straight advice for you, work together and forge a solid opposition. The strenght of Peter Obi is in the new media (social media) and the S/E, the strength of Atiku is the core Muslim North with the support of Pantami & El-rufai.

There has to be a consensus and Atiku should kindly shelve his ambition and rally round PO or else PBAT will have a smooth run in 2027.

Atiku cannot get 15,000 votes in the south today and PO can not get 15,000 in the North but if they can collectively work together people like OBJ and Goodluck will rally around them whilst forging a solid opposition against the king of poverty in Nigerian Politics.

Go to court to get redress for Tinubu’s 26 years a-looter master plan of increasing the tax burden on the people without employing them to make water and other government services as well as utilities available.

What else is he doing to the N3.4 trillion budget that was N42 billion a quarter of a century ago, if not stealing?

TimeManager:
The Federal Government has revealed that the elimination of the petrol subsidy under President Bola Tinubu has resulted in savings of over $84 billion, which are now being channelled into the construction and rehabilitation of 40 key road projects across the country over the past two years.

This was disclosed in a policy brief released by the National Orientation Agency (NOA), titled “Two Years Later: Key Benefits of Subsidy Removal,” and made available to journalists over the weekend in Abuja.

The report, which reviewed the outcomes of the subsidy removal since May 29, 2023, noted that the policy averted a looming economic crisis.

It also enabled the Tinubu administration to clear long-standing financial liabilities, increase capital investments, and support the financial stability of state governments.

Why not the other way round for Obi to shelve his ambition and rally around Atiku?

Was Atiku not the man who gave Obi prominence in 2019 as his running mate after Obiano had gotten rid of his godfather ambition in APGA?

newsbook:
Anambra State governor, Chief Willie Obiano has re-echoed his allegation that his predecessor, Mr Peter Obi demanded the sum of N7.5billion from him for sponsoring his election in 2013.

Obiano and his predecessor, Obi have had a frosty relationship shortly after his swearing in.

Obi has however denied that he demanded for the sum of N7.5billion from Obiano, saying that his problem with him was his (Obiano’s) underperformance.

Obi said if he needed the said sum, he would have simply taken it from the N75billion he left for the Obiano administration at the end of his tenure.

But Governor Obiano while speaking on Wednesday evening at Ezechima Primary School, Onitsha where he inaugurated his reelection campaigns in Onitsha North Council Area, said the clarification became necessary because of the recent accusations against him by the former Governor.

He stated that his predecessor had demanded the sum of N7.5billion from him as funds spent in prosecuting the election on his behalf, but that he refused to pay the money because it was not true.

Obiano said he refused to pay because he strongly believed that public funds should be used for public good, and not to settle godfathers.

These, he said, was the reason they fell apart.

The governor said that another reason he refused to pay the money was because he was aware that enough money was raised for his campaign by his friends and associates, all of which were never accounted for by the former governor.

On the actual sum the former Governor claimed he left behind, Governor Obiano made it clear that he inherited liability of about N127 billion debt from him in contracts awarded and other responsibilities, which he has been religiously undertaking in the spirit of continuity.

He said Obi flagged off several roads even on the day he was leaving office and saddled him with the burden of paying for it, but he assured the people that he has his eyes on the ball and will not allow anything to distract him from fulfilling his promises.

The Chairman of the Governor’s Re-election Campaign Committee, Chief Victor Umeh said APGA as the political spirit of Ndigbo, has in the past three and half years, availed Anambra good governance at its best, reminding the people that the upcoming guber election was not about Willie Obiano but about ensuring that the state remained free from political godfatherism.

A former Central Bank Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo in his speech said that at this time, the State needs a tested hand like Governor Obiano who has the experience and expertise to effectively steer her affairs.

My brother,

The unwritten arrangement of Southern Presidency, Age and Integrity counts for PO.

My suggestion is that Atiku should bring-out one his Sons for a Political Exposure now and nuture him, the whole South will rally round him once its time.

Atiku wil be a saviour, without that Tinubu will sail smoothly to 2027.
