In those days, more younger people got married compared to these modern days. There are more hardships and delayed breakthroughs now than yesteryears. Men in their 30's are still struggling to get their footing on something tangible in life and many are still cohabiting with parents, even at over 35 years.

The decision to marry lies squarely with the male folks and not women.

She must prefer older men with more experience. Perhaps she doesn’t want to be figuring things out with people closer her age. She has her own priorities. She lived with parents twice her age, possibly has colleagues at work much older. Life choices are different

My parents had a whooping 16yr age gap
