Of all the over 500 tribes in Nigeria, why always una, even in Ghana you blamed Tinubu for your woes?

Catch them in India 🇮🇳, they will still blame President Tinubu.
But Yoruba are languishing in prisons in Saudi, Oman and UAE for drug smuggling so what are you saying?

Let’s also allow Fulani herdsmen to install Emir of Onitsha and Enugu.
But there is Seriki in Onitsha and Enugu. There is even a Yoruba Oba in Awka and in Enugu. Travel more so that you will stop being too ignorant.

There are more Eze Ndigbo in South West than the entire South East ➡️

No be juju be dat ❓

No wonder people in diaspora from Ghana, Akure and Lagos are becoming sensitive and hostile to these behaviors 🤔

And now Edo people have joined the narrative.

Ohaneze Idigbo must do a cultural evaluation and call their children to order now !!!
Did you same for Serikis? There are more Seriki in South west than the entire north

They deserve it. Ignorant, stupid, toxic people with no common sense.
What did they really do? None of you have said anything concrete that they have done. The same you will complain of racism by the white man, just look at what you are calling your fellow black man.

Oga, I am Igbo, and I won't support rubbish, u can't go to another man's land and proclaim ur self king,
If they wanted to caution or curtail themselves like u said, why not form union and u have a chairman of that particular union not king,
Remember what happened to jesus when he proclaimed him self king of the Jews,
He was and is the king but was nailed to the cross ,
Remember when 3 wise men told herod that a baby king is born,
All babies from months to 5 years was slaughtered
Just watch of igbos form union, a few years down they will ban all igbo unions.

IGBOS HAVE NO KINGSHIP TRADITIONS. They actually have a saying ''Igbos have no kings''.

This nonsense is something they adopted recently out of ego, hubris, and narcissistic toxicity.

That's why they have no respect for monarchical traditions of other lands.

That's why just go anywhere and casually 'install' themselves as 'kings'.

Because they lack such history themselves and just came out of the bush.

They need to be cut down to size.
How about coming to DSS and explaining the bolded statement you made and how it is not ethnic incitement.

Honestly I don’t see anything wrong in having the title tho
But I’m very sure news like this would have entered front page of all newspapers in Nigeria if this had happened in Lagos …… This is high time Igbo people stop playing victim politics

Ohaneze should institute and originating summon to determine if people can associate based on ethnicity and chose their leader in that ethnicity.

So the judgement should affect, igbo , yoruba or hausa in a place outside their home .

But ohaneze is useless .

FYI, Edo State Traditional body - a state institution, were not the one that instituted the case as they do not need a court of law to carry out their regulatory functions. Rather it was Ohaneze that dragged the Edo state to court for barring Ohaneze in installing Eze Ndigbo stools across Edo State. A similar suit was filed in a Lagos state High Court by both Ohaneze and the Eze Ndigbo of Ajao estate challenging Lagos state Chieftaincy Board declaring his stool as illegal.

Well, nothing new. Igbos like any other ethnic nationals have the freedom of association to appoint its leadership or form local assembly.

However, if this is seen as a threat, then the basis of the Nigerian federation have to discussed. There is no use belonging to a skewed entity wherein selective justice system is the order of the day.

That's what they did and the Edo state High court said they are contravening and undermining the Edo State Traditional Body.

If Ohaneze insists on installing their own parallel kings in other states they should first apply to the relevant state chieftaincy board and once it is rejected they should rest instead of dragging the state to court.

Nobody stopped you from forming your ethnic or cultural association.

They are against you forming parallel usurper kingdoms in their land.

If you want to be a king, then go back to your SE and be one.

what trouble does the ibo man forment in other people's regions that can measure up to the atrocities committed by northerners? Yet the northerners hold sway across Nigeria. They have their sarkins everywhere and nobody talks. Even the governor of Lagos sits with the sarkin Fulani of Lagos.
Before you start shouting. I'm Yoruba like you but we need to tell ourselves the truth once in a while. That's the meaning of Yoruba Ronu.
If we're going to stop the ibos from having their ezes in Yoruba land then the blanket should cover the northerners as well. As a matter of fact northerners cause more trouble anywhere in Nigeria than the ibo man. I see the ibo man as iron sharpening iron with the Yoruba. I see the northerners as parasitic fleas.
What atrocities have northerners committed in Nigeria?

But you won't hear Ooni of Sokoto or Emir of Onitsha

To be candid there shouldn't be any Kind aside the one of the Gost Community.
Any tribe can adopt the name(Chairman, president of it's tribe)

The Fulani Conquest of Hausa land was same pattern but the Atta of Igala noticed it and sent them away.
Let's respect the law of the hosts community and if we can't respect it please relocate to where you can be be tolerated.

My assertion is that the Igbos are like the Jews they move around & settle in different places & call those places home, but still holding on to wherever they are originally from, hence they try & go home during the Christmas season, or whatever cultural events, generations may pass, & to maintain their identity they try to replicate their culture wherever they are residing, not to lose track of their heritage, which most times is in conflict with the indigenous people.

Honestly speaking maybe because having lived in the United, I see nothing wrong with them.

If u were born in a certain part of the country, or u have lived there for a certain number of years, nothing should restrict u from claiming that u are from that place.

A Hausa boy born in Lagos, should be as Lagosians, as a Lagos man who gave birth to his son in Kano.
Thanks for your Honest response;

Candid.Truthful.Broad-minded

Having lived in the US,you are mentally and intellectually Refined enough to know that it's normal or lawful for Igbos to have an Ethnic or Cultural Associations or Unions amongst themselves while living far from home.

That actually means that those who're at Conflict with Igbo Unions and Associations may not be Mentally and intellectually Refined and are therefore likely to be Uncivilised,Unexposed,Unenlightened,Primitive and Crude....

...despite whatever "Education" they claim to have!...

My personal observation though

Talking about the "indegenous Communities" Often displeased with Igbo Unions and Associations.

For me I ask; Which indigenous Communities? How many? Where and Where?

I think that Out of the about 29 non-Igbo states in Nigeria, only in Lagos...and now...Edo do we hear that indigenous Communities are displeased that Igbos have Associations.

Do you hear that in Kano,Kaduna,Kogi,Benue,Oyo,Etc?

The one of Ghana,I'll tell you a little about it...

By the way...why should these indigenous Communities be Displeased with Igbo Unions and Associations ?

Could it be a Primitive "fear" of Igbo "Domination" or something?

It all started in Lagos When Tinubu and his People Joined the APC to help Buhari.

Because for over four Election Circles Igbos have always insisted that Buhari Isn't good enough to rule Nigeria.

But Tinubu needed to build his future Political ambitions with Buhari.

So Tinubu's "Crafty" and "Strategic" Politicking began it's hostilities towards Igbos who preffered Jonathan(Before Jonathan was Yar'adua,Obasanjo..all Tinubu's enemies)

He'll send out his minnions and loyalists and jobbers to do the dirty work, while he pretends not to know about it.

See how it all started?

The recent whimpers from Ghana about Igbo Unions was clearly influenced by the same Ethnic Chauvinists within only the Lagos/Southwest axis...Using the Power of the Social-Media and even offline...right in Ghana.

The Ghanians later realised what was happening and backed off!!

What these "indigenous Communities" needs is a firm enlightenment and a strong and decisive response from the Igbos....

..because the Igbos are never going to give up their rights or change their Electoral choices to appease anyone!

I doubt.

DomPerignon:
Your arrogance was ten times worse than what you are displaying today in pre civil war northern Nigeria.

Those ones came to understand that like a wild dog, you only respond to pavlovian conditioning and so they exerted the most brute force to format your brains.

Even Buhari reminded you that he knows the only language you understand is violence and promised to speak to you in it.

So if it comes to emasculating you Ibos, the north has shown the world how to go about it and that it is only the most barbaric brute violence that you understand and that's why you don't try the mountain of rubbish you are doing across the south anywhere in the north.

You take us in the south as weak for not using brute violence to check your excesses not knowing we are not ready for the moral baggage and subsequent cries and wailing from your piglet descendants.

But what the South can do is to use lawfare to put you in your place an remind you that one Nigeria does not mean Zikist One Nigeria that your Marxist idiot grandparents tried to impose on the polity under Ironsi.

You will be contained. Restrained . And most importantly schooled on what a Federation means.

If you choose , as its most likely the case, to disregard the laws of the state your are settled in and go ahead to disrespect the host despite legal provisions forbidden you to, the pavlovian behavioural condition will be meted on you and you will have only yourselves to blame.

Its your choice.
Bro,I haven't ever seen such bitter and venomous vitriol against the Igbos like this....

Becareful the cancer from the biles of Hateful bigotry doesn't eat you up or cause you self-destruct.

Nobody hates Igbos like this and survives(Ask Adeyinka Grandson)

Now listen; When last did you hear there was ever a riot or Violence or "brute Force" targeting Igbos in the North(as it used to be in the 80s and early 90s)

This is because it is well-known that the Igbos have armed and organised themselves; not just with their Various militia groups...home and away... but individually and in their unions.

So Perish any Wish-ful thought to see Igbos attacked (Cos that's your desire and it can't bode well for you )

Anywhere Igbos are,if You come after them...by "Lawfare" or Warfare...it won't end well for you.

They are war-ready by nature.

Fulanis comes second in Nigeria.

A man tried an Igbo Recently at Mandilas and paid for it.

Three Political thugs tried Igbo voters at Okota in 2019 and paid with their lives...

You need to be in their Whassap Groups or Union meetings to see how prepared they are to deal with any threats from radicals and extremists....

Especially in the run up to the 2027 Elections .

Becareful of Igbos bro. Those glamorous shops and trappings of affluence means nothing if they are under threats.

And don't hope on "Lawfare" to "Cut them to size" cos they know their Rights viz-a-viz the Provisions of the Constitution of their Country.

They have the financial muscle, the numbers, the persons, the instruments of coercion and influence and all the wherewithal to Deal with anybody or group in a "Lawfare" and to pursue the case to any length.

If they choose to abstain from any "Lawfare" it is because it is not worth their time...

...or they choose to respect sensibilities!!

So stop wishing them ill-fate.It can never happen. Its more like one digging his own grave.

Instead focus on a win-win situation with them; Learn to work with and benefit in associating with them.

Discountenance any aspect of them you don't like (Nobody or tribe is perfect) and focus on their great qualities.

For instance you can...amongst many things...send your tribesmen or brothers or sisters to them to help you train...for 5 years...and then Empower them with capital....in Profitable lines of businesses(As they do in their Culture)

Do anything to gain from them but stop hating them.
