Among those Kanu listed as “compellable witnesses” are the Minister of FCT, Nyesom Wike; a former Minister of Defence, Gen. Theophilus Danjuma (rtd); former Chief of Army Staff, Gen Tukur Buratai (rtd), Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State and Gov. Hope Uzodinma of Imo.

Others are Minister of Works, Dave Umahi; the immediate-past Governor of Abia, Okezie Ikpeazu; the immediate-past Director General (DG), National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Ahmed Rufai Abubakar; former DG of the State Security Service, Yusuf Bichi, and several witnesses whose identities he didn’t reveal

A witness cannot be forced against his/her will. Besides if he thinks he can use TY Danjuma's words as a defense, he will fail. TY Danjuma does not represent the Government, he was speaking as a private citizen.

As per TY Danjuma , I know the only reason he is being listed is to have him repeat what he said about the Fulani rampage and call for self defense as justification of him forming ESN.

But what Kanu refuses to understand is that a call to self defense in the midst of real and portend danger as that posed by Fulani terrorists does not equate to forming your own armed militia which will later spiral out to become a real terror to the people they claim they are defending.
