Why didn't someone call the police on him for violently assaulting a woman? If the one who is being abused won't use her head, then someone else should do so on her behalf.

Kobo i dont agree with you,i once had this neighbour that loves beating his wife,that day he was at it and I and some ladies beat the hell outta of him eeh.
Days later he came Reporting me to my husband, i gave my reasons....the lady just gave birth not up to 2 weeks.

I can tell you now that,we later changed location and I m still in touch with mum gladys, the man is now responsible.

I have seen many more cases where violence was not enough to achieve a similar result. I have also seen cases where violence resulted in the loss of life. I would rather opt for a non-violent, cost-effective resolution to societal problems.

They should have tied him up and have him admitted in the nearest psychiatric hospital where senior craziods will mend him since they didn't have him arrested by the police.

Whichever way you try to look at it, there is absolutely no rational reason why a woman should remain in an abusive/toxic marriage. That look in that child's face says all anyone needs to know of the effects of these sorts of violence/trauma on children. They are not unaffected.
