The closest to being credible was the former VP Osinbanjo.

The argument isn't about the constitutionality of the Appointment. I don't think anyone questioned that.

It is about the element of apparent bias and conflict of interest. The fact that the constitution allows it doesn't make it moral. That's why constitutions ho through amendments when it is found that some of the content aren't tenable.

I dont know whoever told you guys that supporting a politician means applauding all of their actions.

When ur personal lord. and savior Jonathan was there as the president, why didn’t you Igbos protest and make him change it. Then let Tinubu ACN appoint INEC for him that time? E Dey sweet una body that time? Abi? You already scream bias, discrediting INEC and new chairman eve when election is even yet to hold. But same Jonathan appointed an INEC chairman who conducted election that removed him.

Okay naaaa the way you spoke up when Obi was busy looting Anambra, investing the state's money in Fidelity bank. Doctors going on strike for 13 months. Built zero schools when he was governor more than 5 years ago. Even after his tenure his successors and some states built new schools not to talk of during his own tenure.

..it's not only about the man the INEC chairman concerning election and election results... what about his subordinates..those INEC staffs working under him...if the INEC staffs are corrupt, dubious or not honest in their duties.. like the adhoc staffs, INEC staffs at the polling units and collation counting centers that will manipulate results to favour a particular political party and politicians during elections..the INEC chairman will not be there to monitor all this irregularities and rigging by these his adhoc staffs,INEC staffs, presiding officers that are doing election irregularities and rigging for a politicians that have bribed them to do it...so it's also the surbodinates that are working under the INEC chairman that they have to be honest in their election duties and not involved in election irregularities and rigging and not allow any politicians to bribe them inorder to have a free and fair election..so that is why we need electronic voting inorder for Nigeria to have a free and fair elections
