Statements can be referred to but he need to proof that those statements caused irreparable lose to the country or damaged the territorial integrity of the country. Unlike his own statement via his Biafra radio giving orders to kill all the police, burn down national assets etc and all of his instructions were carried out by his foot soldiers both during END SARS and in South East killings.

Let him defend himself and scattered everything if he can.

And the case will stall or conviction not obtained if he cite them as material witness. The only way FG can secure conviction is if they too have strong witnesses along with strong evidences.

May be the circumstances that created Kanu may have been inexistent because those two leaders would not have aided and abeted fulani terrorists expansionist agenda and mass killings of farmers and locals like the successive governments did. Therefore, the creation of ESN wouldn't have been necessary and Kanu wouldn't have been on trial. Isn't it?
