you're not reading what I'm saying... I never said the thief was baptised.... The thief was not even born again, yet he made heaven... He made heaven because jesus said he could come... That's the only thing that matters.... Faith and repentance... But without faith, it is impossible to please God

Jesus promised the thief paradise not heaven! Luke 23:43 😟

Heaven is where God and His spirit sons live.
Paradise is Eden which is to be restored on planet earth so that the whole planet will become like the garden of Eden.

So when Jesus said:

“Truly I tell you today, you will be with me in Paradise.” Luke 23:43

That day Jesus died and was in his grave for three consecutive days so it's not the same day he was talking about rather the promise was made that day.

This is not just about you alone but other followers of this thread who may be interested in knowing exactly what Jesus meant!

Brother the Spirit of God does not induce confusion. You see, Matthew was inspired that baptism should be done in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. And in Acts the apostles baptized in the name of Jesus. Both are correct because even John the Baptist did not baptize Jesus in the name of Jesus Christ.
The same Spirit which inspired Matthew to write in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost is the same Spirit which inspired the apostles in the book of Acts to baptize in the name of Jesus Christ

Both are correct brother!

Baptism is in a name [Jesus]
Not in a titlte

gohf:
Jesus is not the name of the Father and not the name of the Holy Spirit

Jesus is the name that all three bear witness to, the name God gave, the name the Spirit testifies as the Messiah and the name bear by the son of God

Jesus is the name of the father
Jesus is the name of the son
The Holy Spirit name is Jesus.

When you worship Jesus , you worship the owner who is the father who is a spirit and holy

The problem I see here is that instead of you to listen to the word, you're listening to your preachers. Paul told Timothy to preach the word.
