But how can the prestigious UI be requesting applications by postage of about 20 copies in this present digital age. Disappointing!
Even universities that were born yesterday (e.g Fed uni Lafia) now do recruitment online.
Well, I will try my luck. I have to reach out to my contacts in Ibadan to help submit my application.

That is good! Please kindly share the link. The advert I read requires applicants to to submit applications to the registrar office[. This is how it reads:

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Applicants should forward their applications and detailed Curriculum Vitae (20 copies) stating: Date of Birth (not Age), Marital Status, State of Origin, L.G.A., Mobile Telephone Number, E-mail Address, Academic Qualifications, Previous Work Experience, Publications (if any), Names and Addresses of three (3) Referees and enclose two sets of Photostat copies of relevant credentials to reach the Deputy Registrar, Human Resource & Development Division (Academic Staff), University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria, not later than six weeks from the date of this publication.
