To create receipts for the items you have purchased from AliExpress, perform the procedures below:

1. To access your AliExpress account, visit the AliExpress website or app and log in using your login details.

3. ‘'Choose Your Order'': Find the order for which you wish to create a receipt, and click on it to read the order details.

4." Request a receipt": In the order details, look for an option that reads "Get receipt" or "Download receipt." This option can be found under the order summary or at the bottom of the page.

We prefer that you log in via the web version rather than the app for smoother access to order receipts.

Yes, it is.
It's a smartphone I bought for around $70.
Was charged about ₦105,000 as custom duty.
If I had picked it up when I was at the post office, 23 days would have been the total transit time

So the receipt is for the purpose of beating down the customs duty right? Cause ideally you shouldn't be paying duty on purchases below $300

It's been long time here,i wanted to order a phone since bank Card is working now,but what i am seeing now on this thread is very funny, please i want to confirm if custom are seizing phones now and asking for exorbitant fees as clearance?, even on orders shipped through post office?, I thought it's DHL , FedEx and Ems is where they run that shit, so it has gotten to post office. Make i kukuma enter market go buy phone.

The person I spoke with was suggesting a review to lower the duty charge, but I insisted that a $70 phone should be duty free. He in turn said any phone, as long it's new, it will attract custom duty.
I then asked him, what is the percentage charge in calculating duty? To which he replied that he will have to check.

Thing is, Nigeria is messed up in every sector. Wrong people occupying key position in government parastatal.

Since he will have to check he has not replied this people is funny

Buy phones only when there is choice sales. No choice sales no phone buying. Buy only what is locally available. From experience it is tiring.

This is good advice. Choice sake almost certainly means Speedaf will be responsible for it's logistics. This doesn't just save you from customs stress, it also speedily gets to you.

I said it then, as if I knew what the government of the day is capable of doing!

One of us posted here a couple of months ago a statement credited to the NCS that item(s) below $300 is now duty-free. He even supported the information with a bold newspaper caption to lend credence to his post. I remembered saying then that, implementation of the purported policy is what matters, not a jamboree talk that'd put people into deception!

Here we are now! Just $70 worth of mobile phone attracting ₦105,000 duty! What a pity for the common man!

Truly, Naija don enter one chance!

A $70 phone attracting such sum is ridiculous.
So me that's planning to buy a phone worth almost $300 should just forget it.

What are the chances that a particular phone you need will be a choice sale?

Is it possible to ask that speedaf reroute my package due to changing locations?

Guys is it possible to return an item to china, ordered online from AliExpress and it came damaged now they're refusing to refund me saying I should return the item before first week of November elapse
