Good Morning, yeah u can either built 12 or 24v battery and replace it with your either 12 or 24v ups sir. Its easy to build as it the cells has screw ports where u can just easily connect your busbars

I've been using it to charge my phone .
As the voltage reduced to 12.7-12.8v I decided to recharge it,

If you connect the charger the battery shows 12.8v but if you connect the charger to the mains to charge it mediately shows 13.9v on the charger without even charging

Last year, I bought a Bluetti EB55 from Jumia. Barely a year later, it suddenly stopped charging. After trying to reach Bluetti’s customer service with no prompt response, I decided to open up the power station — which, of course, voided my warranty.

Bluetti eventually responded, and I sent the power station for repair. Unfortunately, I was told there was no replacement BMS available for Nigerian customers, even after I offered to cover the full cost.

At that point, I decided to make the best of what I had — to repurpose the battery cells and salvage useful components such as the inverter, outlets, and other internal parts.

The Struggle
My first attempt was to use a JBD BMS as a replacement. However, I quickly discovered that Bluetti uses a proprietary BMS communication protocol that isn’t publicly documented. This meant I couldn’t even do things like charging, discharging, or accurate SOC readings through Bluetti’s original display (always shows empty battery sign and trip off after like 5 seconds).

So I thought, "why not expand and build my own system instead?"
I decided to buy additional 3.2 V 12.8 Wh 26700 LiFePO4 batteries and build a new battery bank — effectively doubling the original capacity — while still leveraging Bluetti’s efficient inverter and power management system.

I purchased 42 extra cells and added them to the existing 42 cells, making a total of 84 batteries configured as 7S12P, instead of the factory 7S6P setup.

You survived this because you have technical experience. Next time, buy regular cells and inverter -- Diy --than most of these powerbanks bc of poor parts replacement availability. Just a year or 2, an existing one will phase out without their parts. I don't always recommend them.

Very true. At some point I wanted to regret cos I bought that device almost 600k but then I am grateful for the experience so far. Never making this kind of purchase again
