Let's be honest, the situation in US, it's not like the countries mentioned in the list. Take Nigeria for instance, dozens get killed daily and not all are even reported, unlike the US where every gun violence is reported even if the casualties are not as high as those mentioned in the listed countries.

I still use Naija as example... don't you see the number of people who die daily? We can't compare the mass shootings in US to what the militias do here daily, killing both civilians and military... except we just want to be bias

USA is quite safe. It's because a lot of media comes from the USA including crime reports that people have the idea that the USA is a crime scene...meanwhile at least in the cities , police response time is quick and superb.

Also it is far easier for a journalist to get details of a crime in the USA compared to other countries

Note that I do not excuse us war crimes tho.

In the USA, many cities and even towns and villages have media that covers events in that specific area AND also have websites..be it newspapers or radio or televsion. News aggregator sites like Yahoo, and MSN then pick up these stories, and post them on their site. Since YAHOO is very popular worldwide, people get to read american crime stories in real time...giving the impresison the US is this crime ridden place

How about Nigeria for example? Many villages, cities and towns don't have 'local media'. Like now, does your village have a local newspaper, with a website? (The village I served in for NYSC did have a local newspaper, but at best it came out twice a month. No website). National media exist, but cannot cover every part of the country. It's the same in many parts of the third world. So, media aggregrator sites Africa section looks very scanty.

In the USA there are a lot of places you can walk 12am to 5am in the morning and nobody will harass u. But in Lagos Nigeria for instance in the noon alone my wife ( an American ) and I were driving back home from an appointment , you need to see how an agbero jumped on the vehicle we were driving on and that made my wife freaked the hell out.

Trust me Nigeria still remains one of the most dangerous places in the world to live in. Don’t compare it to the USA 🇺🇸 in terms of dangerous places to live in.

I can’t find Israel on the list — where bombs could drop anytime or Hamas could fly in and kidnap people! How about the United States, with major gun violence — a very dangerous country! No Russia on the list? Where is France, where robbery happens in broad daylight and they steal expensive jewelry while the authorities sleep? Abeg, the list is not complete.
