The sad truth root behind her depression is getting a responsible man , and most responsible men will avoid marrying ladies in their late 30s. undecided
A lot of ladies who play games with gentlemen will end up in suicide mode if aunty Yemi with all wealth and beauty can be this depressed how much more a broke and woke ugly liability grin
Gentle man with nothing to feed wife and kids, the marriage will explode in no distance time.

Gentleman shouldn't rely on his gentility alone, you must have money to make marriage workable and enjoyable.

When people say life is very short, most of us no dey understand until we reach certain age and realise that time no really dey much again.
I consider your comment as the most relevant here. You got everything right.

I got my job at the age of 26, now I am 45 and a regional manager. My next birthday will be 46.

This means that 50 is around the corner. I need to be very fast because I wan to become the minister of sleep at 50.

haha

bring certificate, they'll rather go to court grin
Some ladies attempt to conceal their age by obtaining new primary school certificates that show a younger age. This means primary school certificates can no longer accurately indicate a lady's age these days. grin

Gentlemen are well todo young men with legit streams of income, men of means. Most tech CEOS and billionaires married their ladies when they were young and vibrant even for side chick they avoid old ladies in late 30s. Once a woman is in her 30s she is no longer in her prime. Forget about the plastic surgery and skin care and that's why most ladies in their late 30s are always prone to romance scam or being used and dump. No one is right sense will go home with a leftover orange 🍊 grin

‘I kept saying I was 22 for three years’: Yemi Alade opens up about depression
I guess the fame also has dark sides. They always learn. They still won’t trade it for anything.

Yemi Alade has opened up about her personal struggles, revealing how she fell into depression at some point.
It happens to everybody. It’s called “living.”

She described the period as one of the darkest moments of her life.
How many times will this be repeated in the article? Word quota things? Hmm?

The Ondo-born artiste also admitted that she once struggled to accept her real age.
It’s sweet to say “I’m a twenty year old, twenty-three year old adult.” In your thirties, not so much.

The “Johnny” hitmaker noted: “There was a time someone asked me my age and I realised I kept saying for three years that I’m 22. Then I realised I was 25. I took out my phone and I did the mathematics. Whatever year that was, I did it from 1989. I was depressed for a few days.
She forgot out of ignorance and a total dedication to work, not any foolish reason about hiding it from men. My God, children here are so unexposed. Why get depressed that she hit twenty-five? That’s not even prime adult age in Nigeria.

”My mind was also not considering that years had passed, and I was so invested in my world. I had secluded myself and only focused on music. Now and then I would travel to see my mum, maybe twice a year or something.”
I said it. Easy to decipher from the article.

“But it was mental that for three years I didn’t know my right age because I was lost in the source. And so when that dawned on me, what about when I saw my first grey hair? It was the same thing. The time had passed”, said the songstress.
This varies. Some people go grey at thirty-three. Others at forty. Take care of yourself physically and time will crawl. I’m guessing she saw hers at thirty-three, thirty-four. She’s afraid to grow old? What did they teach this woman?!

The actress last made headlines in November 2024 when she accused Cool FM Nigeria and Clout Africa FM of blocklisting her for declining an invitation to their event.
Humans love to abuse power. No surprise here.

She added that she had been unaware that Cool FM and Clout Nigeria management had taken offence over the incident.
She learned that day.

She claimed this led to her music being blocked on both platforms for almost a year.
Do this to an entertainer and you’ve literally killed them. Their fans will remain. It won’t really affect their ability to tour. New people getting introduced to their music would halt for the time.

Yemi Alade further expressed her shock that her entire music catalogue had been removed from the stations’ playlists, effectively preventing her past or present songs from being aired.
A fair enough punishment. She’ll never try it again.

I can relate....

But in my own case,na 30 I no gree for....In fact,it was like I was having a natural problem with 30 angry. Cuz I knew, that as from 30,my life would start and there won't be no turning back..
even when I reach 34 na still 29 I dey.
That number 30 was too heavy for my mouth.
But would have been okay if I was far successful then

Everyone is now lying to the public, I guess it's fake news season.
1) Igbo girl claims to be from Ondo State, but no one knows her hometown. She's welcome though. She hasn't explained her friendship with Ekubo, still.

2) The great ooni now claims to have ascended the throne 17 years ago. That's another lie.

3) Info war is going in Nigeria. You have to read in between the lines in newspapers to decipher it. We are not sure who is in charge at the Aso Rock villa or they are just entertaining Nigerians.

Women start coming to their senses when they are nearing menopause and that's why they are prone to romance scam in that age bcs they are ready to jump on any available option. If you are a lady settle down early with that gentleman who is still cherishing you and his always ready for you before it's too late , don't be deceived by the so-called big men bcs dey will dump you for a younger and fresh sweet-16 once you enter your late 30s
That's not her main issue, her main issue is hypergamy

It's the curse from Adam. We all need Jesus.
When you just write something like this without explanation

It becomes argumentative

Even you yourself might not be able to explain what you meant

So why not jettison such comment in a public forum

God's word can't be understood by all, not everyone are followers of Jesus Christ

But you know faith grows by hearing

How she managed to convince herself and then tell others that she was still 22 when she was infact 23, 24 and 25 baffles me. Is it that she has no conscience or is a pathological liar huh
