I did not expect you to see it because often times a lot of you grow up not learning to be kind and respectful and then wonder why people do not hang around with you.

Always remember if you leave a bad taste by picking holes you are seen as a miserable old man and avoided.

To celebrate with people without picking holes, no but or however is a learned behaviour that will make people warm up to you and share their joys with you. This is particularly in your behaviour with your children.

You don't know me to pass that judgement abi assumption. I respect people so much that some people have called me to tone it down but it's ingrained in me. That being said, we don't know the state that commenter was and maybe he was using that to comfort himself that delay is not denial. That comment didn't come like a dig to me but I understand your view about not putting "but" while celebrating others.
