‘He Acted Swiftly And Panicky Because Of Coup, Not Insecurity’ – Shehu Condemns Tinubu


A public affairs analyst, Mahdi Shehu, has alleged that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s recent reshuffling of Nigeria’s service chiefs was driven by selfish political interests rather than the worsening insecurity across the country.

In a post on his official 𝕏 handle on Saturday, Shehu claimed the President acted out of fear and survival instincts following speculations of a coup plot.

1. The scriptural references to man's selfishness is well succinctly narrated and documented with visible confirmation by man himself.

2. Man's greed and insatiable economic desires gave further credence to the scriptural references to man's infinite capacity for selfishness.

3. Man's selfish political survival instincts by way of his calculations and miscalculations are so obvious even to the most naive soul.

4. TINUBU have just displayed man's selfishness and survival instincts in the panicky sacking of service chief . Just recall the following situations:

* The On going wanton killings nationwide did not PRICK Tinubu's conscience to rejing his security architecture.

*The increasingly unending kidnappings for ransom and killings in the process did not WAKE Tinubu from his slumber to tinker with security architecture for better results.

* The daily sacking and killings of hundreds of villages and villagers in Katsina, Zamfara, Sokoto, Niger, Yobe, borno States was not enough reason for Tinubu to have the COURAGE to sack the service chiefs.

* The mass killings in Benue, Taraba, kogi and Nasarawa states were INCONSQUENTIAL to Tinubu and too minute to be enough reasons to sack the service chiefs. Etc etc etc

5. GBAM !!!!!. But Tinubu was swift and acted panicky by sacking and reassigning the service chiefs immediately "HIS BRAND OF DEMOCRACY" came under an officially denied coup, yet an officially confirmed coup, a coup shrouded in DARKNESS and hide and seek, a coup left to everybody's imaginations and interpretation. A coup with more PHANTOM manifestations.

With 139 Million Nigerians facing abject poverty and hunger and other gory economic failures, Tinubu is yet to sack his "WIZARDLY" economic teams.

Man is indeed selfish even on the face of glaring failures until such a time when he is subsumed by the mother earth.

Tinubu is too self centered to be beneficial to any Nigerian

The masses, the military, the oppostions are not happy with this Government, only the party supporters, members and immediate beneficiaries are happy with the party.

Like the philosopher 'PLATO' once said democracy is heavily flawed, "just because an individual can win votes doesn't mean he can govern well, for when we're sick we don't go for the handsomest physician".

Is tinubu the first nigeria president to sack Nigeria's service chiefs during his tenure?

Infact he's lucky that the Military no just serious this time, man is totally unpopular, and yet he dey do like this

The first thought on my was, is it because of insecurity. I except to see changes in the fight against all forms of domestic terrorism in coming weeks. If it continues or becomes worsen, I'll know for sure, the kind of man the president is.

The coup isn't dead yet... He can't win second term no matter what he does... Tinubu can't rule Nigerian for second term... Let him write it down

His government hast to make it to 2027 first. This brazen, desperate act betrays his lack of understanding of martial intrigue. History tells us that coups are almost always successfully orchestrated by middle-rank servicemen and not top generals. Keeping his new service chiefs fat and happy is mostly pointless, even though it might not seem so.

Let's assume the changes was because of coup, was he supposed to ignore? If i recall properly, the President traveled amidst coup rumors, then came back. Solved ASUU issue, swore in INEC chairman. The so called coup arrests was in September, this is end of October.
