The administration of Tinubu have been fair to every region and most especially SE, but yet they still hate him. Even while serving as governor of Lagos state, he brought the ibo into the mainstream politics of Lagos and he appointed them as commissioner, SA etc but still yet they showed him nothing but hate……but who God as blessed, no man can curse. Tinubu is indeed an enigma and the definition of a man with the heart of gold, under his watch Nigeria shall be great again

South West is due for 7 states too. The whole of Oyo State is almost the size of Southeast and highly populated enough to be broken into 2 or 3 states in order to achieve justice and equitable distribution of developments.

North West can't have 7 states while South West have 6 states. That's completely unacceptable. Those two regions are the two most populous regions.

South West must have one state to make 7 states. SW federal legislators are playing with fire if they don't get justice for the South West.

They will have to learn to build bridges, make amends, behave, be trustworthy, form alliances, make deals, learn the fundamentals of respect and act civilized and devoid of hidden agendas before anyone can be ELECTED from the SE. If you think people will just cede presidential power to you in the name of "equity", you're in for a looooooong thing. You want to create additional State for a region that is almost same size as Oyo State?... when Oyo is having just 1 allocation, South East that is the same size will be having 5 separate allocations?.

I am not igbo . I am yoruba . Yes presidency is never given on a platter . chairman forget about "devious of hidden agenda " . Politics is full of agenda . Hidden and open . But i agree with you on most of what you said . The igbos must realize they can't do it alone . They spoilt a generation of other tribes from voting for them again with their venom after the elections .

It is You that failed to comprehend that Southwest has both the huge population and land mass. Those are the two criteria along with ecinomic viability. Northwest has the population, land mass but mostly economically low.

Currently, 60% of the National income from non-oil sector comes from the Southwest and most of it is earned from agriculture obtained from the proposed areas in need of a state.

Ibadan is viable, hugely populated and economically prosperous to be a state on its own.
Southwest must have at least 7 states to match North West.

It is the Southwest that is due for a new state going by the criteria for states creation and for equity with Northwest which is equally as populated like Southwest.

The only region that needs creation of more states is the whole north. The way the northern states are so big has made govt not to be available in more deepest part of these states niger state for example I can bet that governor does not know upto 80% of that state. He only knows the capital and few populated township there, even plateau these states can be a country on its own. E come b my small south east they wan pieces am the more. Where they wan even cut from to make new state
