Ejimakor, arrested alongside others during a protest for Nnamdi Kanu’s release, reportedly collapsed before a colleague’s visit and is currently receiving treatment at the Kuje Medical Centre. Aloy Ejimakor, Special Counsel to Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), reportedly collapsed inside Kuje Correctional Centre on Saturday and is currently receiving medical attention. The development was confirmed by another member of Kanu’s legal team, Barrister Maxwell Opara, who said Ejimakor was immediately rushed to the Kuje Medical Centre after the incident. “Yes, I went to see him, and he was admitted at the Kuje Medical Centre where he’s being treated. I left there a few hours ago,” Opara told journalists. He added that the collapse happened before his arrival at the prison around midday. “As one of his colleagues and part of the legal team, I insisted on seeing him, and they eventually took me to him.
