Hi everyone
I am not selling anything here, my former place, the voltage I get there was 220-230v and my AC didn't even need stabilizer to work properly,
But my new apartment, I don't get more than 170-190v and with stabilizer sef, to start the compressor na war, the compressor will just be making noise as if a bomb is about to explode,
I start my findings on how to increase my voltage to kick start my ax compressor,
I even went to phcn igando undertaking, those ones there are hopeless, all they do is to come for disconnection and for bill payment nothing more, just useless as......

I did thorough findings, even called electrical to check my wires, changed them to thicker wires but problem persisted, continued and discovered I needed to get a hard start kit,
Searched at alaba, ikotun, arena and lawanson but couldn't get it...
The only play u can get it is at adekunle near oyingbo where AC, refrigerators are been sold,

A hard start capacitor has 2 wires, u connect one to the AC capacitor and the other to the AC capacitor as well, it helps give voltage boost to help it start, then the relay in the hard start capacitor cuts voltage off as soon as the AC start,
It's sold for 4k to 9k there

If ur voltage is 160-190v and u have a 5kva stabilizer and ur AC compressor still isn't starting, just get ur self the hard start kid,
U can check Google to see who it works and how is connected, it's easy to install but if u can't do it call an ac repair professional to help u

I am having the same issues with my air conditioner and it’s even a 1hp, the compressor will kick in and start chilling but after a while the current drops and it trips off, I use a 5000w stabilizer and I still experience this, someone here mentioned that they tune stabilizers how efficient is that?

Na Wao . So am not alone , I stay in Lanre close to Oko oko filling bus stop I have never c such low voltage in my life , the highest we get is 145 volts , most time they give us 112 volts which won’t even pass thru my prepaid meter .
The light is worst in these areas abeg , my friend that lives in hotel bus stop complain same thing ..

They made it look as if they are doing us favour, something we pay for monthly,

If it's that igando undertaking office, those ones are lazy , all they are after is ur monthly payment

Yes I can tune the stab but if the light is extremely low even stabilizer won't be able to do anything, I am having same problem, NEPA should increase ur current

I moved from inside Egan to somewhere close general.
You see that low voltage matter when? Very annoying. But I didn't bother going to complain because I know they will just use person to do yeye. One guy was yapping that I should go and report, this one, that one.... I use an inverter AC so it's easy on my stab. Even at that, some times the AC or the voltage regulator will just trip off.

Na voltage Dem suppose increase not current. But I doubt this can be rectified from this their station. It's a transmission problem.

I discovered mine was not voltage problem or low current,
My case is the compressor was extremely bad, ihave changed the compressor since and my AC is working fine with low current but tuned stabilizer

Yes oooo, I stay at igando,
Don't use regulator for my ac, get 5kva and above stab, take to oshodi and tell them to increase it for u, that u have very low voltage at ur place, e no cost between 1500 or 2k
Yesterday night light was 160v and my stab carried my ac till this morning
