Muslim people feel the most satisfied with their lives because they feel more 'oneness,' or connection than people of other faiths, a new study suggests.

Measuring life satisfaction is about as close to quantifying 'happiness' as we've been able to get thus far, and a German psychologist's new study suggests that a feeling of 'oneness' predicts overall contentment.

And when the researchers divided their 67,562 survey respondents by religion, Muslims felt the greatest sense of oneness.

Historically, under Islamic civilization, Iraq (Baghdad) was the heart of global knowledge and culture — the seat of the House of Wisdom.
That legacy proves Islam’s intellectual and cultural strength when practiced sincerely.

6, Iran—while Iran’s government is theocratic, it’s crucial to distinguish Islamic faith from political ideology.
Iran’s people are highly educated, with deep philosophical and artistic traditions rooted in Islam.
Despite sanctions and isolation, Iran has achieved technological and scientific progress that demonstrates the discipline and community spirit Islam inspires.

7, Egypt’s challenges are mostly political and economic, not religious.
Historically, Egypt has been a center of Islamic scholarship — home to Al-Azhar University, the oldest continually operating university in the world.
Millions of Egyptians find daily peace, moral discipline, and community through Islam, even amid hardship.
