kettykin:I remember when this sit-at-home declaration was made. I was in a transport vehicle heading to Owerri to write TOEFL. I criticised it that businesses shouldn't be restricted from operating or people from moving. I and one other passengers were the only people who condemned the declaration. See the results today? Posterity knew that I tried. |

Konquest:Dude stop repeating words. Private programmes can still be bought over to use for PR. Any discerning mind would notice that he has stopped being objective like 2 months ago. His analysis is more like a PR stunt. |

Insecurity makes a state poor, because nobody will come to a state where they have sharia law, ipob esn militia, bokoharam or iswap to do business or holidays, a wise people will make their community and state free and secure, this is what Lagos is doing right. Religious extremism and insecurity chase away investors and visitors from your state, eventually the vicious circle sets in...for your own good, shun religious extremism this breeds insecurity in a state. Don't sacrifice your life and peace for religion, or an evil ideology, religion is for man, not the other way round. |

owobokiri:you are right on this , a lot of founders , business owners dont have the stamina or intellectual capacity to weather the storm but all the same , the sit at home must be abolished so that there will not be excuses, while for every 1 igbo that divests from the east, more than 9 other invest back to the east, the east has never been for the faint hearted, it requires a lot of creativity , raw smart work to scale the eastern market and some of the companies are not ready to use local consultants |

Ttalk:Again , you are very wrong on this, we have seen brazen unapproved allocation of federal funds to the south west for coastal roads , refurbishment of third main land bridge , lagos railways , refurbishment of the international airport , and the most recent $1B for the lagos ports , more than N5trillion has been allocated to lagos projects when lagos is not a capital or even a city anyone can do business peacefully . common sense dictates that the niger delta region should get a chunk of the project . |

We told them then when this IPOB wahala started, they kept on encouraging it now look at what is happening. Do you know how many jobs would be lost by their relocation to Lagos? Not to even mention taxes that should go to the government? It is well with our people from the east. Them go dey alright |

kettykin:The Lagos Calabar coaster road cuts across Nigeria Delta states na, the kind of politics and governance in this country, every president always wants to allocate project to his constituents and Tinubu will not be an exception. Jonathan was supposed to carry out trillion naira projects in the Niger delta at a time when oil prices was high, so much money was made then but he didn't, he was building roads in the North to pacify them for his second term ambition. |

Gerrard59:They have run out of logical options on how to advance Biafra , their only option is to force every business to close on Monday and everybody to sit at home , who does this in their world of today ? imagine israel or ukraine rather than being proactive now forces everyone to sit at home , the level of their downfall will be unquantifiable. The problem is the mental capacity of those running this Biafran thing , they are very cluelessly wrong. |
| Re: Roxettes Group Mulls Relocating Plants From Southeast To Lagos Over Insecurity by kettykin(op): 6:55pm On Oct 26, 2025 |
femi4:This is the only way Lagos profits , lopsided federalism , relocation of Niger delta oil company headquarters to lagos, Abandoned property of igbos, Port Monopoly, skewed up budgets allocating 50% of federal budget to Lagos, fantasy project like International Airport , Coastal highway. Aside these , there really no hope for Lagos to grow |

Gerrard59:Same thing I said, author is paid by the Yoruba government! They are playing stupiid games with Igbos. They tell Igbos to leave Lagos to go develop their region, they demolish their shops, e.t.c. When Igbos start doing that, same Yoruba will start running propaganda that there is insecurity and businesses are planning to leave. You see what they are doing? |
