It's childish how they are making it about age when his near age mates like Trump are ruling elsewhere. Nobody should discriminate against anyone on account of age.

My concern is on getting the reward of good governance to the citizens of that country who have not given up on democracy and their country.

You can only rig an election where you are popular and he's winning because a significant percentage of Cameroon citizens still believe in his leadership.
