Overcoming challenges. Nice one Dangote. The man who refuses to bow to obstacles. He is debottlenecking every bottleneck Give it to this man. He keeps turning problems into opportunities. While others are lamenting, seeing problems everywhere. Not knowing that the other side of a problem is opportunities. Same coin with two sides. Even if you dont like him for whatever lazy reasons your dad told you. But try respect his principles, results, doggedness, and consistency. What we need as people is to appreciate and learn from this man who is now an INSTITUTION |

This is really commendable in a business realm. I like the idea of getting all your support system in one embodiment. In no time, issues with supply of crude oil to his refinery will be a thing of total annihilation since he will be doing it directly from his own block. Dangote I salute your courage and strength always. |

Dangote want to take over Nigeria |
| Re: Dangote Begins Crude Oil Production Soon by hush15: 5:51am On Oct 28, 2025 |
Patriotic9ja:I wonder why FG can't make refinery work if one man can. Even if na to privatize am and make the refinery plc.... when Atiku said it, people went for his head, but here we are today, its evident only private sector can run things in this country. But Dangote too get sense sha. That monopoly thing ehn, its coming because by the time other players enter the market, he would have dominated the market and left them with probably less that 10percent of the market share. They really came late to the party cos it takes a very long while to build a refinery. |

No matter how great your establishment maybe, always pray that government nepotism should not happen to you. No good company or industry can overcome government bad policy. Tinubu, a bad man with good intentions. |

At least, he can decide to explore anywhere , and sell to himself under existing guidelines and protocols, , this is a spirit every business man must have , a spirit of not giving up, With time , it will be dawn on them and realize it’s time to stop importing fuel and built refinery here in Nigeria, to provide jobs for our people . |

hush15:For decades we never had a functioning refinery and no one dared to venture into it. Someone took high risk and invested billions of dollars. People were even doubting its success while construction was going on. Now that it has become a reality, you hear monopoly abi monogamy. There are still deficits today. So others can invest bigger than Dangote and stop shouting monopoly from their beds while a hardworking man continues working. Dangote started cement business when we were all importing cement. He saw the opportunity of building something to stop cement importation. Today people say monopoly. Is there any business man or woman anywhere in the world that doesn't want to dominate his/her line of business? None. Even Facebook keeps buying over smaller competitors. Same applies to Google and other big companies. There is a reason why someone who started with one shop in Alaba market now has more than 5 shops in the same line sef and more in other areas. The goal is expansion and domination. This is the businessman mindset and goal. To expand and dominate. In simple terms, that is growth. Even churches open branches where other denominations already exist. Do crusades and evangelism, etc. It is in human nature to grow and dominate. Is there any father who will tell his child to stop studying hard so the other students can enjoy 1st positions because he has been taking first since primary 1? Nobody does that |

Patriotic9ja:My brother your head dey there, Dangote have my support, the man is using Eagle and Crows tactics on them, when his eagle 🦅 get to high altitude, the crows will fall off, let him keep flying higher to higher altitude, ever see a crow attacking the eagle, sat on his back and peck but the eagle knows one things, doesn’t fight back , just fly high and high where crow can’t survive 😀 They better gang up and build their own refineries now , at the end Nigerians will benefit We need some competition like this in Power sector also. God Bless Dangote |

stuffs2002:Don't think obidients are angry about dangote doing domestic crude production or his refinery. Only thing that annoys them is subsidy removal, like most Nigerians , because price increase ( most Nigerians, including tinubu supporters oppose subsidy removal) |

| Re: Dangote Begins Crude Oil Production Soon by nairalanda1(m): 6:25am On Oct 28, 2025 |
hush15:The NNPC refineries went down the drain because subsidy meant that the government was cutting corners to keep costs of subsidy down over 30-40 years The result is the mess they are today. |

kolente:Leave them, as if the man stop them from buying other competitors too, he never stopped anyone from investing in Nigeria, While his critics take our money to china, Dangote is busy converting our natural resources into wealth, creating jobs and boosting local infrastructures . We need more men like Dangote, Alex Onyema, Innoson, Rabiu of BUA, producing in Nigeria will create massive employment, reduces insecurity and help the Naira Every wealthy Nigerian should should invest here, Atiku , Tinubu and Obi should do same in another sector that will provide employment and business for us, the textile industry need this too, we need to stop wearing Oyibo used clothes |
