Obi is right, it's dangerous to expose kids to poverty, most of this guys is trying to escape poverty by all means but 95% don't know how to use the money when they get it ..... It's possible that one of your family member could be into yahoo yahoo scam, but i don't think our youths are that useless to the point he can't become a doctor or professional in any type of jobs field if there was a genuine opportunities, our youths has been destroyed by poverty and system of governance, you can keep lying to yourself until eternity

Secondly, if you are a specialist, you will not equate yourself to Yahoo boys, it's demeaning and borderline ridiculous.

The person behind that system language called a programmer can either be a good guy (Legit or White hat programmer) or a bad guy (fraudster or black hat programmer). So, in this context the Yahoo boys choose the path of the programmer that is the bad guy to defraud people using the code they have written e.g Trogan, viruses, botnets...etc.

If after this simple explanation you still cannot understand the point then I am sorry for whoever your lecture is.

Many dont know how complex the whole idea of digital fraud works.

Obi may not be referring to all however there is just a select few of these people who are actually pretty smart.
These few may prove useful rathe than useless if directed.

If amnesty was provided for militants and terrorists and most were reintergrated into the nigeria security why not them.

The nigeria prison is called a correctional facility for the reason of rehabiliation.

I think these set of people can be trained and put to better work and use as well ,i believe that is obi's true message.
