Over 50 people killed in Central Nigeria few days ago but no one heard about it. 95 percent of all incidents in Nigeria are never covered by news media and Nigerians have no idea what is happening in their country. 90 percent of incidents in Africa are never reported and that is why people continue to steal our resources without consequences. Look at the genocide in Sudan aided by United Arab Emirates because of Gold from Sudan. Africans need to start convering African stories and leave western news alone. |

eejo:NTA is owned by the FG, so they won't report issues that would undermine their Oga at the top or put him in a bad light. |

Nigeria institutions are dead no thanks to the politicians the only option we are left with is to hold them accountable with social media tooks. See something say something. |

NTA has always been a government drone channel. Thankfully there are a lot of alternatives This isn't the 70s and 80s when NTA was literally the only station in town. People watch NTA in case there is an important announcement about say wage increase, change in policy re govt id. Otherwise, yawn |

the NTA is the Nigeria Television Authority, right?! Covering those unfortunate incidents with huge death tolls, will undoubtedly demarket this present government, to the world. And as such, those media outlets have perhaps been authorized either not to deliver coverage or be diplomatic and subtle in every way, if coverages of the unfortunate happenings would be made at all. |

Good2go1:It will take them no time to shut down and dismantle the social media once they notice the movement gets enough damaging momentum against them or you think this government gives a hoot about the people ![]() Having good and selfless leaders all across board is the only way a country can be progressive, not all this thieves we have in our country. |

eejo:That's also one of the weapons the political class are using against us. It's easier to manipulate everything like that. Example is the reported cash transfer the government said it gave to 15million households. What they'll tell us is that most of the recipient are living in the rural areas with little or no access to the internet. |
