Nigerian version of same project
Remember that 1 Billion = 1000 Million.

$1.2 Million is 0.12% of $1 billion

Nigeria is also diversifying. Can you see those in kidnapping sector are kidnapping more people daily. Bandits groups are increasing in numbers.. Insecurity is making people withdraw from agriculture, cux they can't risk their lives in the farm.
And I was busy reading this to see the diversification of Nigeria from oil ......is well

They have a century plus more to add more destinations.

nairalanda1:
Saudi needs to become an industrial nation. Not a tourism nation.

Stadiums don't make enough money from tourism.

Nigeria my country see what are mates are thinking about while we celebrate prices of food stuffs slightly coming down.
Saudi earns more from oil per Capita because

1. Their population is less than 50 million
2. They produce 10-11 million bpd of oil.

If we want to be Saudi mate we should focus on using our extensive natural resources to develop goods for the world.

Trying to be Saudi's mate by pretending the oil is enough is partly why we are heavily in debt and why our economy is weak.

Even then, tourism doesnt make as much money as manufacturing and exporting manufactured goods.

Japan is a mega tourist destination, but most of its income comes from industrial growth and development

Are you trying to justify that even the little we get according to you is effectively put into use?

Live till their oil runs dry then you can criticize. This is like the people who laughed at Noah for building an ark when the clouds were bright and sunny.

You missed the part where I talked about how we can be Saudi's mate.

But to reiterate, we have to follow the example of china and south Korea who in 1960 were both broke nations. As late as 1973, China's per Capita gdp was less than Sierra Leone.

In other words manufactured goods and services

Revenue from 1.5 mbpd or even if tinubu managed to increase it to the 4 m bpd he is promising , and assuming that our leaders do not steal is not going to be enough for Nigeria.

I mean, a lot of Nigerians say GEJ time was good. Under GEJ , our reserves were at 60 billion dollars at their height. The Saudis had about 720 billion dollars at their height. In their reserve. That's the difference

Even our budget dey scanty. Divide our budget by 200 million people, everyone gets 180000 naira each. For a year. Okay.

Our leaders are bad because they do not use what we have to make stuff the world needs.

Why do Nigerian architects lack creative imagination?

It is high time they investigated to ascertain if Nigerian educational curricular is from Temu or not.

If it's Nigeria to build this kind of stadium. The will budget nothing less than 100 billion dollars. Corruption runs deep in this country.

I really commend you for trying your best to continually explain all these details to people over and over again, especially in different threads.

But I seriously doubt you can make a headway with most people here. They seem stuck with 3 basic beliefs that has shaped their paradigms. Until you remove those untruths, everything else will be water on a goose back.

1. Nigeria is a rich country but politicians are chopping all the money.

2. If not for bad politicians, everybody in Nigeria would have been millionaires or billionaires, even if they decide to work low skills jobs and are not mentally competent on big projects.

3. There are some peculiar politicians that once you put them there, within 2 years, Nigeria would turn to Dubai because they have the Midas touch. Or better still, they have been ordained by God Himself to do this work.

I sincerely wish you well.

And I do believe in my heart that you are a brilliant person.

How are the spectators supposed to watch live matches? On screen?

How safe is this? People scared of heights will definitely won't dare come here to watch matches.
