Daddyyin:Just like Jonathan listened to APC manipulated protests against fuel market deregulation in 2012. Something that APC has now confirmed was just about playing politics with our wellbeing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3eukKEOSi-8 Petrol should never cost more than N70 per litre, says APC January 19, 2015 The All Progressives Congress (APC) has described as mere tokenism the reduction of petrol price from N97 to N87 per litre, saying the petroleum product ordinarily should sell for N70. On Sunday, the federal government announced the reduction of petrol price, citing the fall of global crude oil price. But the APC through Lai Mohammed, its spokesman, on Monday accused the government of making a show out of deceit, saying “a 10.3 per cent slash in the price of petrol was a mere tokenism at a time the price of crude oil has crashed by about 60 per cent”. It argued that the pump price of a litre of petrol should not be more than 70 Naira, alleging that at N87 per litre, the government was forcing Nigerians to subsidise the massive corruption in the oil sector by N17 for every litre of fuel. https://www.thecable.ng/petrol-never-cost-n70-per-litre-says-apc/ >>> >>> Buhari’ll reduce petrol to N40/L —David-West |

Orlandoo:True. Tinubu initially pardoned hardened criminals. Nigerians had to react angrily before he made those changes. |

SatoshiX:Sorry to disappoint you too, the father inlaw's plea does not and will not erase the judgement hung around her neck. Only the president's pardon can save her except the president had been pressured for her name to be removed from the pardon list |

Selling after the market. This shows incompetency from the judiciary arm of government, the entire parliamentary and the entire Presidential team. This list ought to have passed through all these channels before reaching Tinubu's table, also passing through his Chief of staff. That's all the level of incompetencies. How do they even run the affairs of 230 million people ![]() |

So if nobody complained, tinubu and his crew would not care about who they released. Imagine the level of stupidity to release a lady that murdered her husband in the name of pardon. |

I think FG should take this a step further and find out how those names got smuggled in, particularly the drug related convicts. I am convinced that the drug barons and sponsors sneaked in those names, this will be a good opportunity for NDLEA to now know who some of the drug sponsors are. |

fergie001:All this na grammar to illiterates. Does Boya Onanuga wants to tell Nigerians there was no guidelines to follow for those that deserve Presidential pardon or they were just playing APC politics ? . Bayo, that write up is stupid, Nigerians are not daft. They have been existing guidelines to this. Tinubu isn't the first President to pardon convicted persons. If you claim that Nigeria, a country of over 60 years old has no such guidelines ever, then the judiciary and the parliamentary arm of government should be held accountable. Even governors have been exercising such rights. |

SatoshiX:She has been removed from the list. Her sentence reduced as well as those removed from the list. Good compromise but it never should have happened. Another gaffe by Gbaja. That’s his job as chief of staff. |
