Nnamdi Kanu international lawyer, Bruce Fein, don write Justice James Omotosho wey dey handle di IPOB matter for Abuja, say make e throway all di terrorism charges wey government carry come court.
For di letter wey he write on top October 28, 2025, Fein yarn say Nigeria government don break both local and international law because of how dem take arrest and carry Kanu enter Nigeria by force.
Di lawyer talk say Kanu matter no suppose dey court because di government use “kidnap, torture, and illegal rendition” bring am come, and dat one don cancel di court power to continue di case.
Fein remind Justice Omotosho say di United Nations don already order Nigeria since 2022 make dem release Kanu sharp sharp and without condition, but government never gree.
E come warn say if di judge no cancel di case, e fit join body inside di wahala, because “any judge wey support illegal case go fit answer question for International Criminal Court.”
Fein quote one U.S. Supreme Court justice wey talk say, “When government begin break law, e dey teach people how to do anarchy.”
For now, Nigeria government don close dem case, but Kanu say he no go defend because government no get case against am. Di matter don shift go November 4, 2025.
