That's certainly a massacre!
Narcoterrorism is high in Latin America, no doubt; but this number is just too suspicious.
If they were truly as dangerous as painted by the attackers, the casualty on the side of the police would've been higher.
Something is definitely not right with the story.

Good job by a government that is sincere in discharging it duties to the citizens but here in naija the best apc can give to the citizens is to release convicted criminals back to the society and hold peace meetings with terrorists, then, thereafter arrest and jail peaceful protesters who are demanding for their legitimate rights.

The US market is probably no more - under Trump. All the drugs produced in all these South American countries cannot go to their main market (US) anymore. Abi have you not been following the news? The entire Gulf of America (formerly Gulf of Mexico) is completely barricaded by the US military and coast guards. Market don spoil for drug lords. I also read that recently, an Iranian-style bombing expedition was carried out in one drug producing company hidden deep in some Mexican state mountain completely obliterating the nerve centre of the narco-terrorist ring of Mexico.

All these tells you that market don spoil for drug kingpins in the Americas.

Now, the net effect is that countries like Colombia, Brazil, Venezuela and others who probably have remnants of drug producing facilities will have no other choice than to crack down on those still engaged in this dangerous and illicit business.
