I was watching SINISTER last night and sleep wan finish me around after 12am. I just dey force myself open my eyes for the entire 1hr I watched. Slept and woke up around 3:00am.... Tried again at 3:30am and still no vibes.

Disappointing for a film that tops scariest horror lists.

Some I watch for the plot, some for the entertainment, some while scary for some people actually induce laughter, some for the themes, genre and some just to see something scary.
A good scare do some good things to the body.

I don't think anything can really scare me in horror films anymore. Maybe disgust, eeriness et all, but something to really shake me? Nah.
Maybe while I was younger. Not now.

Some are really good and top tier. Some people just hype sh!t up just cos their scare spectrum is pretty low.
Make I watch the film finish first make I see whether e go pay off unlike The Exorcist— this exorcist sef na sleep e first make me sleep earlier this year abi na late last year when I first try am. 20 minutes of snoozing.

The overall second best film I've watched this year so far is an horror film — Bring Her Back, just behind F1. So, some are gems and have way more nuance besides just being a genre horror flick. But many of these old films be like hype jare and only scary to boomers or peeps who were in their youth at the time.

I don’t even know who sent me to download this movie.

This is the most horrible and most horrifying movie I have ever watched in my entire existence.

Why won’t I download these sort of movies when Hollywood is no longer making captivating action & adventure movies?

Even the “House of Dynamite” that I was waiting for barely made me happy. I was expecting to see Chicago up in nuclear flames with mad VFX but they were just whining me and expecting me to fill in the blanks.

How will I even sleep tonight without having flashbacks from this movie?

To be honest, THIS FILM SWEET DIE! because it teaches a lot of lessons but the horror is just too much for me to bear.

I was just shouting and cringing and irritated. But that lady (Margaret Qualley) is damn too beautiful and inviting.

I don’t even know whether to delete the movie or keep it.

The Substance - 2024

I rate this movie 9/10 but I’m not sure I will watch it again.

Even this SINISTER I'm watching was top of his list.

Which Grudge are you talking about? It's many.

If you're talking about The Grudge, I've watched the original Ju On: Grudge which is Japanese and the rest adapted by Hollywood are cheap copies.
