They failed. While this is commendable to encourage local production, yet our local production capacity is not enough to meet the daily demand. What may happen is that importers may sell at a higher price and local producers will instead of selling lower match that price. 27 Likes 1 Share |

Increasing import tariff on essential product like petrol will adversely affect the economy of Nigeria and further drive people into poverty.
