All the coup plotters except 2 are from North, when almost security forces in Nigeria, headed by Yorubas.

Even if that bloody coup, wen through, those involved won't still be President, because of several people that are still way above them.

Why risking your life for thing you will not enjoy ultimately, if it eventually succeed ?

@ the bolded, the current leaders of Mali, Burkina Faso, Chad, Niger, Gabon today who took power through a coup, do you think they were the highest ranking soldiers before the coup?
Do you think they were even in the top 10% of the Army hierarchy before the coup?

Some were Colonels, some were Generals, some were Palace guards who were not even part of the regular army.

How can civilians be interested in toppling a democracy. Yes we dont have great leaders but this is our best bet towards development . Imagine a military tyrant gets into power and decides to sit tight ? That is the real threat of military rule .

Obi people were the one calling for coup immediately after the last elections, it was an Ibo man that demanded tinubu and all other Yorubas leaders to be killed, not an edo man, not an Hausa man, not a Fulani man, it’s the manifestation of internal hatred, enviness etc !

Yoruba had been at the top of tribes in today's Nigeria.... They had an empire for crying out loud and check history of the Igbo at that same time and you might not find it because they weren't at the level of documenting their history at that time
